Well he is there on the lawn holding Bella. I go over and see that Bella has been "playing" with a chipmunk. The little thing is in shock and won't move. A little nudge with my foot and off he goes back to the garden. Bella is really upset she lost her new "fun" toy. I thought it was just the cats going for the chipmunks but now I have to worry about Bella too. I didn't think she was that quick or could see through all that hair. |

| I don't have Chipmunks, but my friend Mary does. Her two dogs (sheltie and a westie) tag-team to try and catch them! And Ollie our 1st OES could catch rabbits. He was fast! |
| The timing of this story couldn't be better. My friend called the other day frantic that her Jack Russel not only caught but ate a chipmonk...I said good thing they're too fast for sheepdogs |
| A few weeks ago my three shared a squirrel. I saw them all "playing", so I thought, running around, and then there was a tug of war with what looked like a stuffie. All normal, so I just kept on doing what I was doing. Then they all kind of went their separate ways and when I thought, "huh, they sure calmed down" and I went to check...all that was left was the head. Eh, nobody got sick...whatchagonnado? |
