HELP new oes is very territorial
i just adopted an oes frida has 1 year *the one that i adopted female and bruno has 1 year and 11 months * hes been with me since a puppy bruno doesnt like frida ! he gets very territorial, he doesnt even let frida get close to me he growls at her do you have any tips so they can be friends...or should i just let them get to know each other better ? |

| make sure that you are not treating him any differently. When I adopted Bella 6 months ago she and Dexter (8 yrs old) had a few tiffs. I started making sure he was fed first and addressed first. Bella was adopted after my other rescue passed and Dexter had been a few weeks by himself. Although she had been the dominant of the two I think Dexter was a little thrown off when a "new" girl came to town. Although Bella is more Alpha than Dexter, things didn't improve until I made Bella see that Dexter had "ranking". I always step in if she gets a little too rough with the play for the "old man" and show that I am in control of the "pack" |
| thank you actually theyre getting along better now i only think that frida needs a lot of love she never wants to be alone maybe she thinks that ill abandon her just like her old family she follows me around all the time now bruno is so jelous |
