Bella's new trick... :)

Bella has always been adept at finding ways to get my attention when she felt like she wasn't getting enough! As a pup, if I was on the computer, she would get the TV remote, bring it in the computer room and just hold it in her mouth, as if to say "I could really destroy this, you know!"

So now....if I am in the computer room or watching TV, she will deliberately lock her mischievous self in the bathroom, then paw at the door for me to let her out!

Of course, it took about 8 times of her doing it before I figured out it was deliberate. Then I caught her in the act! She actually goes in and uses her nose to close the door, lol. This morning, of course being a holiday I wanted to sleep in, she did it in the bathroom in my bedroom so I would have to get up to let her out! Silly, silly sheepie

:clappurple: Silly girl!! Baloo has only locked himself in the bathroom once, thank goodness!! but the gathering of things and bringing them to you to see how long it takes you to noticeBaloo did that.... he still does this ALL THE TIME. When he was a puppy we said he was 'gathering' his things, as he'd make a pile of stuff he found around the house: a sock, a pencil, a ball, a sliipper. He never chewed these things (i don't know why not, thats what puppies do) but always just piled them up and then would sit there and wait for a reaction.
Now he gathers something he knows he shouldn't have and will sit by my feet and look at me till I say something.

These clowns!!
Keep the bathroom door closed when empty. That should confuse her!
LOL, I thought of closing the door, but it's the coolest room in the house and both dogs and even the kitties like to sleep in there on the cool tile during the day....it's so hot here! I close the door to the master bathroom but I hate to close them out of their cool sleeping place!
Understand, I had a toilet sleeper myself, wrapped herself around the base. Big white Pyr around a white toilet, a little difficult to navigate in middle of nite without light.

How about a door stop? One of those old wedge types should be beyond Bella......for awhile.

Her antics sound like Jack..... run outside and scratch at the front door so I am forced to let him in......where upon he runs to the cookie jar, "Jack is a good boy, feed me."
