We made the sled dog news!
They feature groups, kennels, racers, recreational sledding, mushers, training and have the best advertisements for sleds, equipment, mushing jobs and dogs all over the world. My sledding friends have always gotten a kick out of Chewie and his non traditional sledding buddies, and said I should send in pictures to Sled Dog Central. I finally got around to it a few weeks ago. I got a reply back from Judy at SDC, and she wanted to use the pictures and do a feature article on us!  Little old us....when they do articles on the Iditarod and big time kennels and mushers!  I got the proof back to read last night, and we are up and live on their site today: http://www.sleddogcentral.com/ I am still amazed!!!    |

Pam - oh, topic stealer (moi - sorry, Dawn) Jan's Sadie is entered at a CPE trial in New Munster this weekend in case you feel an overwhelming urge to go. Yes, we will be coming out in August (as much as I can predict that far ahead), and Chewie would love to come to Camp Kristine again.  The dates are the weekend of August 28-29 - hope that works out. I hope the rescue people aren't barfing......  , I know LeAnne kind of gets that response as well.Martha isn't the most gung-ho sledding dog...she's along for the run, but doesn't really pull - it's not her cup of tea. Just a bit of exercise. But she looks cute doing it Good luck at the trials this weekend. We have Riley's rally debut, should be interesting. Thank goodness they are having a match for run thru's Friday evening....we will definitely be there! |
