Who's honking the horn?!
 We were packing up our truck this evening, after doing a weekend art fair, as were numerous other folks all around us in a downtown parking lot. We had put the dogs in the truck before taking down our tent, so they wouldn't be underfoot, and my husband had thoughtfully moved both bucket seats as far forward as they would go, so the dog's backseat area would be bigger and they could stretch out. Unfortunately, Eggbert decided he wanted to sit in the driver's seat instead, except it was pushed right up to the steering wheel. So...were packing away, and both of us muttering angrily about the "rude jerk" who keeps honking his car horn somewhere nearby  ...then we realize that a lot of people around us are laughing and pointing at our truck  .Bert had determinedly squeezed himself between the seat and the steering wheel, and was honking the horn every time he shifted to watch our packing   I guess he wanted us to hurry up, as he was was ready to go home at that point! |
