Can anyone up there in the Great White North contact this owner and guide them?

OMG.. I was just home to SJ this past weekend.. let me know Stacey if you get a reply.
I sent the following message:

Hi there... I may be able to help you find a good home for your girl, I was wondering where you got her or if she has a tattoo anywhere?
Is she ok with kids? Cats? Other dogs? Do you have any pics?
Thanks
Stacey

I got the following reply:

Hi,

she is tatooed, and yes good with kids, although it is not recomended that sheepdogs are put with babies due to their protectice instints. she loves to run after our cats, not sure what would happen if she ever caught one :-). and is fine with other dogs.

I replied again and asked what the tattoo is. If she is from a reputable breeder they would want her back and re home her themselves. Once I find that out I'll either direct them to the breeder or to rescue and of course to the forum.
I have been corresponding with him as well. I was provided with a list of people that have applied to NEOESR for a Sheepie within the Maritimes and I have forwarded the link on to each one.

I asked him about the breeder, and he said.. I would not want her to go back there....so this leads me to believe that it maybe WW.
Probably WW or SP... I wouldn't want her to go back there either BUT if the dog is from a reputable breeder they probably have a contract stating the dog has to be returned to them (my contract states that for example)
He does seem like a nice guy who is being honest and wants what's best for the dog.... she sounds like a nice girl.
Thanks for all you're doing for this girl.
Hoping she finds a great home :hearts:
what is a tatoo? and how can you tell where a dog comes from with that info?

Trying to put together a list of questions OES owners might use to rehome their dog. Not everyone will accept assistance from OES rescue so this might help owners rehome their dogs a little better.

If the owner of this OES isn't required to return her to a reputable breeder or reputable rescue, you might forward the list to them- http://www.untilyoufindme.com/Rehoming- ... eepdog.htm

Since March, I've been sending the list of questions to people advertising OESs... some may find at least a few questions useful, others have only been concerned about the money. If anyone would like to share ideas on what needs to be added, please feel free.
Jaci a fantastic list I cant think of anything more needed to be added, you have covered everything and what a great idea to help re-home an OES. :clappurple:
Thank you, Lisa.
The list is the joint effort of OES rescues and individuals.

:bulb: The thought is that if the OES can be rehomed properly
the first time, rescue might not be needed later on.

The next list is going to be questions a buyer might ask when purchasing an OES puppy. I'll need to gather a lot of input for that one...
This is the gorgeous pup I was refering to in my post ... Pros and Cons of two dogs. Sasha is an amazing dog from what I have gained from Dave. this forum is so fantastic and I applaud you all (Sheepdogrikki, who cannot recall his password)
Do you know if Dave still has Sasha?
