PB Chewy Brownie Recipe

So dang chewy and good. I make 2 batches. One I freeze b/c I eat so much of it.

Image

1C + 1/3C creamy pb
2/3C ROOM TEMP butter (I do two TABLESPOONS LESS than 2/3C and think this makes it perfect after making this 100 times!)
1C + 1/3C sugar
1C DARK brown sugar
2 eggs
1t vanilla
1C + 2/3C flour
2t baking powder
1/2t salt

grease 9X13
preheat 325
cream together pb&butter. Then add the rest of the ingred. Bake for 35 min. You'll know when it's done because the tops will spring back a tad when touched and top looks golden. Over baking will result in hard brownie. My baking time is my oven so you'd have to check yours. I have to cool COMPLETELY before trying to cut. Takes awhile for it to set and be the chewy goodness that I love.

Notes: I add eyeball amount of chocolate chips on top before baking which I think is goodness. Or you can melt a chocolate glaze/frosting on top after it's done which also tastes delicious. Oh and I cover the pan with foil and with a knife... I cut out a big square so just 2" all around the edges is covered w/foil, so the edges are AS chewy as the middle

Todd can't eat anything chocolate without smearing PB on it - he would love this!
Those look super good and the Peanut Butter cookie with Chocolate Chips will thrill my hubby. Thanks for the great new recipe.
This looks really yummy!!!
As soon as I can get this darn back healed up--- THESE are on the baking list!!!! YUM!
I'm not sure if I love you or hate you lol. I'm making these ASAP!!!! :cow:
Sounds yummy! Will try these! Thanks!
I bought the creamy PB, hope to make them tomorrow on my day off!
Guy Fieri, the Food Channel guy called his light brownies with choc chips, Blondies with Brown Roots. OK, his weren't PB brownies (I don't think), but you might consider a new name for these.

(as on who as kicked the red hair, I too will fall under that title from time to time...easier to hide white and brown in blonde than in red)
I made these yesterday, but , used crunchy PB. I also made a simple glaze of PB, powdered sugar and water that I drizzled over the top, along with crushed peanuts. YUM! :) Thanks for the recipe!
