Thunder wrap?

Not sure if this should be under behavior or medical...I just read about this thing used to control noise phobias...fireworks, thunder, loud noises...its called the thunder wrap. It sort of wraps around the dog's body and supposedly keeps them calm during thunder storms and fireworks...Anyone ever heard of this? Fourth of July is right around the corner and we are planning for it now!!!

I have seen adverts for it with testamonials saying it was great but I dont know anyone personally who has used it.
I used to use a smiliar product on one of rescue Great Pyrs. It worked pretty well.

They are based on the knowledge that a wrap or pressure helps with anxiety and for most animals it helps calm them.

Several different organizations and companies make different versions based on this principle.

It is also part of TTouch therapy.

We had a basset in our rescue (I did his transport and a friend fostered and eventually adopted him, in spite of his issues) who benefited greatly from a wrap in social settings (this induced great anxiety before - he has rehabbed well and doesn't need it now).
He had a TTouch based wrap pattern and an ace wrap was used.
Seen em and keep thinking I need one for Harry. Maybe this will spur me on. Actually all four need one, but he seems to be the worst.
