Wichita Falls Texas??? Playdate

Hi Sheepdog lovers,
We just moved to the fine city of Wichita Falls, TX and it seems as though there are no dog parks and no indoor play areas for our 2 year old sheepie.
I think it would be good for Bert to run and play with another dog but we are stuck in a hotel for another 2 weeks until our home is ready.

Anyone nearby? Thanks. Christy and Steve and Bertman

Wow, that's quite the move!!!

Sorry you no longer are in MN :(

I hope you find some places to have fun with Bert down there.
We said goodbye to beautiful MN and one of the world's primer heathcare organization and joined the world's primer air and space power organization.

Mayo to the US Air Force. Upon commisioning in the Air Force Bert was required to comply with regulations and get a hair cut. I will post photos later.

We will miss MN but are excited for upcoming adventures.
Wow! Civilian or military?
Military. It is a whole new world. :D
We're down in Waco, but we would love to meet up, if you are ever traveling nearby. Sherlock is a 10 month old OES/Standard Poodle, and we have a hard time finding other large dogs for him to play with (as well as finding people who better understand Sheepies personalities).

Let me know if you are ever interested. We also go up to Dallas/Ft. Worth fairly regularly and could probably meet up there somewhere.

Ms. Holmes... we actually go to Killeen fairly often, so maybe if you're visiting family or someone over a holiday and are passing through... we can be a stopping point. I know our dog is DYING to play when we're there since she has to stay in the laundry room at my mom's ;) My mom is a dog hater, so we're always having to find parks nearby to play at to give her run time.

Last time I went to Waco was go to the Dr. Pepper factory, and that was only b/c I had to complete a history project in college (had to hit X number of landmarks listed on my sheet). ;)

Bert, I feel for you... I'd hate to be stationed there. Lots of encouragement eh? I'm sure you already know that as many people feel that way in the military. Just sayin' ;)

We'd definitely be interested in meeting up next time you guys are in Kileen. It's not a long drive at all. Let us know when you're planning to visit next and we can arrange something. Of course, you'd always be welcome to stop in Waco and let her run around in the back yard or walk through Cameron Park.
Killeen is not that bad of a place! Better than Midland or Odessa!!
