Breeder Help
This is my first post after reading for a long time, so hopefully I am not posting in the wrong spot or stepping on toes... My Wife and I have been in the process of trying to get an OES puppy. We had a breeder lined up, but when the mom dog gave birth (literally today) she only had one puppy that the breeder decided to keep - so we are back to square one. We have spoken to a few more breeders this afternoon, but I figured a few more to look at wouldn't hurt... So I thought maybe I could ask all of you. We live on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. We are teachers so we were hoping to be able to get the puppy for the summer to do the initial training while we can spend the most time with the puppy. We have contacted every breeder in New England on the OESCA referral list and most are looking at fall litters, which is doable but not ideal. Any advice or other places to look for breeders would be a big help to us. We don't mind traveling within a fairly large radius, but would speak to a breeder that ships if you guys have had a good experience. Thanks in advance... And if I've posted this in the wrong section or committed a faux pas by asking for recommendations (I scrolled a few pages and couldn't find any similar posts), please disregard and delete - I'll post a hello elsewhere if that is the case. You have posted in the correct spot  and welcome!I'm in MN and quite far away to know the availability near you, and I don't know of any litters near me who has pups as well. Hopefully someone closer will know of some litters for you to consider. |
