Rudy is getting shaved!

He's been really good natured about it, but he is one wiggly dog. He shifts around a lot. (No, we don't have a proper table. We've always just groomed on the floor.)

I've had to do bits and pieces and wait until they all connect. Here's Rudy partway through.

And here's an action shot of him right after he was told it was breaktime.

We almost finished him last night. Today we have knees to toes left. That will be fun.

We've never seen him furless, and we've discovered the most adorable spots all over him. I don't think he is wearing his real ears. They appear to have been stolen from a dalmation. I'll have to get an ear close up to post.

Oh my - that is hilarious!
I would be compelled to finish (yep, it's a character flaw...  )
I would just die looking at my dog partially shaved, would drive me nuts! But I love it if it's someone else's dog.
:clappurple: we do summer on the floor, no table and you have to have breaks it kills your back and your legs!! I like the shaved look x
We finished him to the knees last night, so he was a poodle while he slept.

We finished knees to feet this afternoon, so it's all good.

Now we just give it a day or two for the "unclenching" to occur. That's when tufts of hair that were hidden during the shaving process start to come back out, and we can do the final trim. He did pretty good, but oh were those paws ticklish!

And yes, my back is thrilled we're done.
 Sorry to say, but its so nice to see someone else struggling with a hair cut! Ha ha...We also do my male a little at a time and he looks very strange in the process! Ha ha...where are the pix of Rudy xompletely shaved????? I just stareted mine today and he looks sort of scary
looks like duffy when i do him i need a break on the floor my poor back.. it is funny dreamer is so tall i do not need a table
