Anything on the coffee table is fair game

I left the room for a minute last night so Lizzie and Henry decided my iphone was a play toy! thank dog it had a silicone cover on it survived with only a few teethmarks and slobber! why didn't we learn the first time when she ate the tv remote!?! This morning my daughter leaves her hot chocolate alone and comes back to find Lizzie still trying to get her nose into the mug she managed to drink half of it and was wearing the rest all over her face  so I guess she forgot the golden rule 'Anything on the table is fair game' .......

Coffee table?? What's a coffee table?? :?:

Oh you mean the rectangular sheepie serving platter that sits on legs in the middle of the living room! Its purpose is to allow uprights to leave interesting and tasty items at the perfect sheepie smorgasbord height.

Just to let you know Tiggy ate and destroyed two mobile phones and 4 pairs of spectacles. Silicone was the common denominator. Both phones had silicone skins, since I replaced our phones and no silicon skins we forgotten and left them in reach and she hasnt bothered with them.

The optomitrist told us that many dogs adore spectacles due to the silicon based coating on the lens.

Good luck, I hope you dont lose as many expensive items as we did. :crossed:
Ah yay, I do appreciate being reminded that Harley is not the only thief and random object destroyer around!

Last night she destroyed my kindergartner's plastic homwork folder. I told him the food news is she didn't eat the homework this time...
But that is the perfect excuse, "the dog ate my homework!!" :D

For Josh birthday, Asterisk chewed his glasses into a bow tie for a present. 8O 8O
And that is why we've never owned a coffee table.

We have one, and all the dogs leave stuff alone on it.......thank goodness, I guess!

A few have tried to use it as a step (it is against one end of the couch).....and the cat Tipup thinks it's his bed......

Don't get me started talking about the shoes that Lilly has found quite delicious!
Thank God we don't have a coffee table. I'm sure the kids would eat the remotes and magazines too. I'd be mad if they got their paws on the iphone.
We have one.. lets just say it's very tidy. Ru drags his beard accross it looking for interesting things. The problem we have is that he 'sniffs' stuff but pushes things over with his nose while trying to sniff
My table moved from my living room area because it is so small anyways to the sunroom and now I have it at the end of the bed when I realized it would working nicely as a step up onto the bed when I saw Langley on it one day, I think he was just trying to get a good look out of the window.
