| Thanks everyone....I did have a very interesting B.day at work... I had an ecard, thinking it was from my FIL in Florida, I felt obligated to open it and reply with a thankyou~~ WELL...it didn't open and when I looked at the sender it was unknown!!!  'things' started popping up all over my screen..TROJAN VIRUS!!! CRITICAL!!! WARNING!!!WARNING WARNING! *I felt like I was in a "Lost in Space" episode!  Since this is my work computer and nothing like this has EVER happened before, I freaked out!!! Talk about a panic attack!!! I called my tech and he said..''Don't touch ANYTHING"" "I'll be right over!!"" (he is such a sweetie). Long story////short////too late  ...There was NO viruses which I was very happy about since the bogus program said there were over 13,000 viruses on it...  It is a program to scare the H~~E~~ double hockey sticks out of you so you panic and give out your credit card number!!!  So.....my tech, RON (good name for people who seem to be there when I need them the most))) is my life saver!!!!  (after the work day ended, I was very tired..but very relieved~~ sho it ended up being a very Happy Birthday!!!) Thanks guys!!! |

Hooray no viruses! The same thing happened to me when I clicked a link about allergies, it even bought up the 'my computer' bit to make you think you were in that part of your computer... I'm no tech head but I do know I'm using Vista and not some archaic version of Windows  Hope you had a lovely day!!    |
