Finally saw it though and wow, I must admit it is one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time. The story is amazing but the visuals are just stunning.... I definitely loved it and will probably watch it again, several times. What has everyone else thought of it if you've seen it? |

| You can't see 3D? That's the best part! Visually it was beautiful. The story didn't change the world but it definitely didn't have to with those effects. We saw it in the theater and I sat next to this odd little Indian man who kept laughing at inappropriate times. That made it even better. |
| Unfortunately no, no 3D for me. No stereo vision.... it definitely sucks, and also makes me the worst baseball player in the world LOL |
| No stereo vision for me either. I suck at baseball and I can't see 3D movies, nor can I do those paintings where you're supposed to relax your eyes and see the image behind the front image. |
I didn't see Avatar (but I'm not a movie person, nothing against the movie). I also have horrid "stereo" vision. I lose balls in the sky playing softball. At my last eye exam the Dr was doing the different vision tests, and out of the blue comments "I bet you have a hard time with binoculars, huh?"  .....well, yes I do - I have to shut one eye!However, I CAN do those pictures where you let your eyes relax and see the hidden picture. I actually do that fairly easily.  |
| I saw the movie twice in the theatres (once w/ each boy) and I really enjoyed it. Loved the special effects, loved the story line. It was good, we thought. I can't tell if I'm seeing in 3D or not usually. It always looks the same to me.  I put the glasses on and think..... hmph-- looks like I regular movie!?!?I have to close one eye to see thru binoculars too!! You mean there is a real reason for this?? I just thought I was not good at looking thru them!! HAHA I have an issue with looking thru a microscope too I can look at those pics where you relax your eyes with a little time. I have to look at it for several minutes.... |
