YES!!

When will it be? Sundays are best for us :D
I have absolutely no holiday left this year (going to NZ for a month ate it up!)

So Weekends are the only option for me really, but if that can't be then'll we'll have to look forward to next year.

That aside any ideas for a location, May is nigh upon us so Beaches will be out of bounds in most cases.

Come on UK bods and bodettes, get yacking about this :clappurple:
Weekend are better for me

What about Kentucky! Patch would love to meet her British mates and matetts!
Kentucky is maybe a little too far for us! :D :D

However, we would love another meet up, weekends or weekdays - we can make it. The Kingsbury Water Park where we've met up the last 3 years is fairly central if we get people attending from all around the country but, for us anyway, after just having travelled 700 miles in our doggy motorhome over the last 4 days, our dogs like to travel so distance isn't a problem for us! (Other than Kentucky - sorry Patch but you'd be more than welcome to come over here!)

Who else is interested?
hi any day is ok for us, being retired :clappurple:
yeah :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple:

i missed the last one, so theres no way i am missing this one.
sunday is great for me.
This sounds great although I dont have my sheepie yet <sob> maybe I could bring one of my cavaliers show them whats in store for there futute hehe. And spending the day with all your sheepies sounds awesome fun to me :).

Most people seem to want to do a weekend this year. Kim - you're the 'local' at Kingsbury Water Park - is it too busy to go on a Sunday??
can we get some sort of date sorted for this soon as my diary is filling up
and i am not missing this!
I'm gonna throw a date in, how about 4th July?

Greg and I have a week off from the 29th May, but I'm not sure that's enough notice now? But if it was a weekday then that's the only time we could do it.
4th July sounds good tgo me, 2 days before my birthday :clappurple:

we are away 3rd July for a week! trouble is wont the park be very busy at the weekends with kids? It was lovely last time being in the week? but we can make a weekend but not that one, going to Scarborough!
we are away the 17th july for a week other than that i can work round most days.
if its school hols won't the park will be busy no matter what day?
It's a huge park, I can't really see a problem unless someone has a child-eating sheepie who won't wear a leash

How about a little earlier then? Anyone else have any ideas for dates?
Hi Girls & Guys!

Are you all looking to go to the Waterpark! then! or any other places anyone knows of!

Weekends at the Waterpark get really busy! Sometimes you can't even get on the grass as people pitch tents and have picnics there, We always take the girls up early in the morning to avoid the Rush! as parking is a nightmare lol lol lol Lots of people go on their bikes, and you get people on the boats and lots of fishing there too.. so it does get really busy!

I don't think there would be enough room to let the dogs off like we normally do! :(
There is no where near us that isnt busy at the weekend. Think we will have to get our thinking caps on xx
Ok, I said you should have your play date in Kentucky. FYI, we have a UK, the University of Kentucky in Lexington and it is called UK. We also have Utilities of Kentucky called UK. Does that suffice for us to host your play date - you would love our beautiful Kentucky in the Spring and Patch would love to meet her British cousins.
Haha! We would love to visit you guys in Kentucky!! :D

I've been looking at country parks on the net, some of them have a 'dogs on leash only' policy because of wildlife, others have no toilet facilities & since Birmingham is a 3 hour drive, and we intend staying for a good few hours, toilets are essential!! The best one I have come up with is Arrow Valley Park but I don't know the area- our usual meet up place barely shows on the googlemap, so I'm probably missing loads of places.

Can anyone more local suggest something? I'm guessing we are wanting to keep it central England? Any further North & we can't make it, it's just too far for us but the majority should decide!
am up for going anywhere!
looks a nice place. good point about dog being on the leash, we dont want too much of that
just bringing this back up to the top again!!!

can we have a date and place sorted please  :hearts: :yay:
Southampton is pretty dog friendly and the common in the middle is about 300 acres?

Though I'd go anywhere as Bumble loves driving. How about Saturday the 31st as a date, or the Sunday?
We just took the dogs to the Isle of Wight last weekend and found that park! It was excellent to tire them out there before boarding the ferry and for a 'pot stop' on the way home! We can't make that weekend though so you'll have to count us out if that's when it ends up being! (We'd love to be there though whenever and wherever it is)
Hello, just wondered whether anyone was welcome and whether me and Murphy could come maybe? He is still quite small though....but gives as good as he gets!

Would love to see more oes!
:D
everyone is welcome. are we thinking later in the year now say Septembe? sorry if it says somewhere only havent been all the way through the thread.....
David and I have a friend working in London for the next year who has invited us to visit. Once we sort out the when and all that, I think you should have a sheepie day so that we can see if British sheepies bark with an accent!!!
OK so September is great with us, especially as it will be cooler then.
It's not that far in the future so we should decide where we are going :D

And YES EVERYBODY is welcome, sheepie or no sheepie!
September is good with us too but preferably not the first weekend as that is when we're having our charity ball and we wouldn't be able to come! If its a weekday that can be arranged (I start a new job soon but have one day off a week and they're flexible!) but if its a weekend, not the 4th/5th or 18/19th for us please if it can be avoided!

What about everyone else?
when do the kids go back to school? Any weekend in September or any day really is ok, say a date Karen or Cassie, and see what the reaction is xx are we saying same place as last year x
my kids go back to school the first thursday in september.
am easy about dates as long as i have some warning so i can rearange my diary and sort out the kids
oh come on its september do we have a date and place sorted soon please???????
i live too far to sort out a place. will somebody please help xxxxxx
:clappurple: we will keep this thread alive and then someone will sort something out xxx hopefully xxx

Count us in - just tell us when and where - preferably at a weekend as I start my new job next Monday!
Did this ever happen? Harvey would love to meet up with some other sheepies!
Not this year sadly

Maybe we should set a date now for next year?
Yep lets do it - I have no plans for next year at all, so am free any day/month right now
the park where they ususally go is busy in school hols. so lets make it not then, but in the summer.
am up for any time, week day or weekend.
i have never been one yet!
ill round up a few sheepies to take with me too!!
