Lure coursing opportunity - Somers, WI

Got the following from someone I train with (below).

I've been there - it's not far from the IL border btw - and the little girls had a blast. A lot of OES seem to love it given the opportunity. Something to consider. If you need more info let me know.

This is something that is on my wish list to do in Harry's future. He loves anything that involves running full out, unfortunately he is not real big on the "controlled" running.

I guess it is fortunate that I have a conflict that weekend or I would be crazy enough to consider attending.
Yes, it is fun!
We only did it once, and Chewie was just 6 months old. It was a hoot!
I would run Simon again, except I'm afraid he'd pull something...
The controller sure was shocked when the happy basset caught the bag! Definitely underestimated the speed of a determined hound
We did this once about two years ago. They both chased but got about half way around and they checked to see where we were. I was shocked that they even rememberd we were there.
Ah, today's the day. Dazz and I are going. Anybody else by chance?

Oh, us too! If Tigg was coming I'd bring her "cousin" Sybil so they could exchange "how to drive your handler insane" tips!

They already have exchanged enough of those thankyou!
See my post on handler meltdown!

I did and very much enjoyed

I'm thinking Tigg needs her own blog.

That would require someone to learn how to work an online blog. And Tiggy's probably too busy at the moment, as it is I dont know how we'll fit Monday night agility in when/if? we get accepted into a second new club! 8O
We came, we saw, we...OK, someone took pictures in any event

Dazz wasn't completely convinced she should leave me the first time we tried. I gave her a break and tried her again and she had a blast.

She certainly has a happy look on her face.
Nice pictures! :D :D

I love all the fleeting expressions that pass over her face as she is running and thinking..... :D

Hm. Personally they scare me a little. She spends much too much time thinking!

Actually, she's one of the most expressive OES I've ever known. You never have to guess where's she's at mentally/emotionally at any time. She does expend an awful lot of energy WORRYING. And, frankly, being undershot and all, worry is not her best expression.

She's a funny, funny dog. She must be getting comfortable at the house because Sybil, who was always her greatest defender when the rest voted to encourage her to go out and play in traffic  has heaved her off the bed now three nights running.

The QUEEN  has spoken!

I was amazed at all the different expressions on her face.

And those long legs, looks like she loves to run.
