Is this the end of the storm? Waters have calmed?

Is he growing up? ...at 18 months old

I remember this great sense of relief when Yuki suddenly "changed." You know, when they hit 2 and you woke up to a dog who quit ALL his/her antics overnight?

I know this is bad luck, but I'm overjoyed with this new dog i have. A calm ...not chewing, can leave stuff in the other room and it's still there when you get back ...dog. Now he's still a dang bulldozer and you better be out of the way if he's coming, but he can't help that he only can think about walking to point B ...and not the things in the way along the way.

I'm so proud of him. He's such a sweet boy. He still has a lot to work on, but having some change gives me a lot of hope ...and more patience now.

...and in case anyone asks...

I don't think he'll ever grow out of his black socks, but that's not bad behavior to me ...just a lazy trait. ;) He played with 6 other male dogs this weekend and even had a field day drinking new pee other than Yuki's ... (again, I've accepted some things will never change) ...but he came home even more confused. ..switching mid pee, doing a hunch while both front legs are nearly touching his back (like he's pooping yet he's peeing), but I guess he's trying. He goes in 2 wk spurts of never peeing on himself to peeing on himself every. single. time.

What a beautiful boy. He is too cute to be real.
You'll find boys are special.......Jack keeps me smiling every day. We survived the first few months together though I kept telling him "I'll drive you back to the shelter............" He was a young male when he came here, already neutered, but still full of "vinegar." Now he's just wonderful, silly, etc etc. Glad you see that light at the end of the tunnel.
I love my girls but boys are just the best thing around. They tell you every minute of the day that they love you.
HA HA HA Cracks me up-- those socks!

I have to agree with others.. I love Lily to death, would be just devastated if something were to happen to her. She's my girl.
But-- BALOO.... he's MY boy. There's something there I can't explain. He makes me laugh all the time.
Ahhhhh that reminds me of Ru. He's not just my dog, I have a relationship with him :hearts:
Your boy is so adorable...he looks too cute to be true. I'm glad he is finally turning that corner when you will have a little less stress.
He's adorable :) I'm glad you're having an easier time with him now :)

Oh my gosh is he cute :) . It is tough waiting out the puppy phase but so worth it.

So, so true. The boys are special. :hearts:
If Sheepies are like us men then they'll stay puppies much longer than you'll imagine
