Not if you recharge your batteries and make home coming fun ![]() I love it when I have the house to myself - last time was in 2006 I think ![]() |
I so enjoy that feeling!! When ANY one of them disappears for an hour or more... it's a weight lifted. One gone really makes a world of difference. I definitely miss them at the same time. If it's the kids, I LOVE grocery shopping without them, but at the same time... I'm sad the entire time I'm gone. ...but I get excited again when I'm in the car and get to listen to something OTHER THAN Disney songs. |
Now that DH is retired, I loooooonnnng for those days! Enjoy every single moment and don't feel bad. |
I don't have kids, but I sooooo enjoy when I get home from work and my BF is walking the dogs........piece and quiet. |
Todd often lets the dogs out in the dog yard when I come home from work. It lets me get in the door with purse, laptop and work tote bag, and set things down before I am greeted by the happy wave of dogs. ![]() But otherwise, it is just too quiet. My quet time is evening, when Todd goes to bed (earlier than me) and dogs and cat are all just lounging around. ![]() |
