Wish it could stay this way ALL year!

You guys always hear me talk about how I love the winter, but if it could stay this way (70-80's all day, 50s at night) then I'd be in heaven!

I got up early this morning b/c I've got lots of baking to do before we go see the parents tomorrow (finished fudge brownies, ginger cookies, lasagna to be baked later, and homemade bread already!!) and then went running. I swear when the weather is perfect ...you can run forever!

Today we'll be gardening and wrapping up some gifts for the kids for Easter. What are y'all up to?

I totally agree. If I could live all year where it's in 50's at night and the highest it ever gets is like 80-81.... I would be in HEAVEN!!
I've gotta work night shift tonight (7p to 7a) which means tomorrow I'll sleep 1/2 the day away. I work one night shift a month. After that it's just the kids and I for a quiet Easter (hubs still deployed).

Have fun seeing family!!
First off, Jo, just reading about your schedule always makes me tired!

And second...I AGREE. I was just thinking that. It's like that here right now (70-80s in the day, 50s at night) and I LOVE it. I wouldn't want to move as badly if the weather was always like this.
I prefer 65 and partly cloudy with a gentle breeze (2-3 mph) during the day and 40s at night. But then I have the hot flashes from hel! so I sleep with a box fan pointed at the bed, and the ceiling fan that's over the bed turned on.

You and me both!!!
To be fair, you guys work long weeks with jobs outside of the house. If I don't stay busy, I fall behind, and like a job ...that's just not acceptable to me.

Mr. J is planting some bushes he got (not sure what kind), and I just started mowing the grass (came in for water) while kids play soccer.

Paula, that's great to me too!!
Too hot for unacclimated bodies here.
Average highs for this time of year are 47 degress - for a HIGH!
The last 3 days have been in the 70's, and yesterday it jumped up to 84!! WAY too hot for this time of year.
It was 65 when I woke up at 5:30 to go to work. That's nearly 20 degrees warmer than the normal high temp. :!:

And, the last time it was in the 70's was back in September 2009......
I love spring and fall for the cool-but-not-cold temps too...but right now here that means 40s in the day/ 30s at night. I'm looking forward to 60s/50s!

Today I'm going on a trail hike with a couple of friends and our dogs. Hopefully it wont be too mucky

This weekend we hope to be able to set up our new hot tub, finally. It depends on just how much melt we get in the next few days, as the spot we want to put it is still choked with snow.

Ditto. Too hot for me.

Today it's already up to 23C (74F) and I'm boiling and thinking the air conditioners will have to be put in soon. That's insane, we usually still have snow!
We had 79 here yesterday, 80 today, and 81 tomorrow.
I was able to get Brick to the park yesterday but he didn't run too much. It was too hot for him. He's still in his full coat. He gets groomed next week.

Love this weather!! As soon as the bathroom contractor leaves (he's staged in the garage), I'll bring one of the cars home.

You need to move to Hawaii! :D
Mid 60's and a breeze is my kind of weather. It's 80 today and sunny. Beautiful, and I don't like it. :?

My niece is out visiting her dad and going to the Columbus Zoo today - she said it is a gorgeous day out there today!

(Her dad lost his job here and got one via an old air force buddy out there. They are trying to sell their place here so my SIL and their youngest can move out there. The older 2 daughters are married here, and the one visiting is engaged.)

Our storm front fizzled out (we need the rain), but the temp dropped down to 60 and the sun is peeking out.

So-- when all that selling and moving happens-- I can expect a visit from you when you come to see the relatives??? :)
We hit 87 degrees at the Syracuse airport today.

We were warmer than that in the more suburban areas. My truck thermometer said 92!!
No wonder Brick wouldn't step foot outside today.

Are you close? He lives between Heath and Hebron and works in Newark (just looked at a map = I've never been there!)

Although we will be driving through somehow/somewhere in OH when we go to Nationals in NY this fall too.

You'll probably be taking the turnpike across Ohio into northern PA where it turns into a toll road into NY to the show site. Too far north in OH for the NewarK/Columbus area. Although at one point the turnpike is only about 40 minutes north of my house!
I agree <80 for high and low in 40s is ideal!! Unfortunately here spring often means high winds...last few days we had 65 mph gusts....which is average. Some years we've been closer to 85. (but nothing like Boulder's wind, I bow to Val and Ali)

If we didn't get the wind, I'd love the temps to be 40-80 or even 50-80 as for sure I could shut down the furnace and not have to start up the cooler.
