how strong is your sheepie?

Summer is by far the strongest large dog we have had. But, she is the smallest. Polly our oes cross was about 30 kg, Katy (bless her :( still upsets me writing her name xx) was 39kg, but Summer is about 21 kg. She is so strong! She has just been playing tug and I refused to let go, she pulled me across the room! I weigh about 59 kg, but she just pulled me as if it was nothing. :clappurple:

Ru can also pull me across the floor playing tug.. I don't let him do it often because I worry about his neck & teeth. I weigh 64 kilos 8O and Ru weighs about 34. I think Ru would love to do weight pulling, he pulls like CRAZY when I put a harness on him
Get those halters on 'em and put them to work! Price of petrol will go up again, be prepared!
4paw drive has incredible traction. when they get the best of me i let em drag me to where they're on the hardwood floor rather than carpet.
Ripley has been playing tug with her 100lb/45kg Shilo Shepherd big brother since about ten weeks. Of course being very stubborn, she never let go. He would drag her and the rope across the floor till he got bored. Now that she is 15months and 66lbs/29.9kg she wins most of the time. After a few tugs back and forth she just drops and is dead weight, not letting go. Bear my shepherd usuallly gives up.Ripley immediately get up and wants to start again.
She was at the vet yesterday for her yearly. It took two vet techs to hold her head up for my vet to draw lab work.Everyones comment was "boy she has a strong neck". As far as I can see all her teeth have grown in normally.I tend to keep my dogs on the thin side, both get lots of excercise and are both very athletic.
They are really strong. :D

Chewie's best pull in weight pull competition is almost 1600# - that would be about 725 kg.

panda drags me around the yard if i dont let go of the rope....and IF i do manage to hold on for any legnth of time, she pushes toward me and uses her front left paw to swipe my leg out from under me......

Summer swipes my yorkie if she is being a nuisance, or has the wrong toy :clappurple: Tilly dont care she just comes back for more. They both had a teddy this morning and Summer was shaking the teddy with Tilly still hanging on. I had to split them up it was scary to watch!
Shamu is really strong too. I love playing with her, but when I stop she pushes her toy into me.
My boys are whimps! The only time I notice their strength is the first block of our walk and people yell...."you should get a sled." Oh groan, how many years have I heard that one? After the first block all is okay..no more pulling. I think Merlin would look at weight pull and think..."!"I ain't gonna do that kinda work...I just want to round things up!"..In his eyes that's his job.
