Oh my gosh he's so cute!
He's adorable, but looks so sad for a little guy! I hope he finds a good home soon.
Chris
Why on earth is such a beautiful little baby in this predicament? How sad, he's hardly had any time in this world and this is how he's experiencing it? :( I hope someone rescues him soon. I would love to know his story.
Did they find out anything about his hearing?
Is he one of the ones that was rescued out of a mill or auction or something like that?
Jeffrey is not deaf..he just has selective hearing  a typical sheepie pup! He is learning what it's like to be a pup...run & play & get into mischief...he was kept in a barn & never socialized...he's making up for lost time...I think he is sooooo cute :D
Diane
I put in an application last week for this little guy and hope to hear soon on wether he can come up to our home. Hopefully the cold weather here won't be that bad for him (its suppose to be in the 40' today.

Pete
:D
No problem with cold weather. I live in Michigan and we get lots of cold temps & snow. A word of caution-Dont' let him stay out to long and get the snowballs from between his pads. Luke and Rosco love rain and snow and would stay out all day if they could :D I hope you get Jeffery, he looks very sweet and deserves a great home. If you need help transporting him please let me know I would be glad to assist. Best of luck and let everyone know the outcome-Holly
How great Uncle Pete. I hope it works out for you. Pleas let us know!!!

zach
That's great Uncle Pete! I hope it works out for you both!!
Uncle Pete did you get to adopt the puppy ?? I hope so!! Jan
I also tried contacting this rescue on two separate occasions, but have never received a response.

I'm hoping that's good news for Jeffrey!
:D Good luck uncle Pete! I lived with my sheepdogs in Central Ontario and both of them didn't mind the cold there. Bentley (about whom I 've written) was with me in Alberta and that was cold. He would sit down when the temp dropped too low so we wouldn't walk on those days: just a quick out the door for business purposes.
Good afternoon. :D

I made contact with them and am waiting to see what happens. I'm not crazy about putting a puppy on a plane as cargo and I think it would be too scary for him. I'm not sure if the drive (I live in Ottawa) would be too long for him but from what I've seen in the other post, people are willing to help out with the transportation so I'll wait and see what happens.

Thanks for your help and I'll keep you posted.

Uncle Pete
I received news today that Jeffrey was adopted. If he's soon to be yours, Uncle Pete, congrats! Either way, glad to see he will have a new family soon.
:( Sorry, I don't think it was me as I was not notified that I could have him. I'm sure that he's going to a great home and am patiently waiting for my turn!

In the meantime, I'm still looking. :D

Uncle Pete
:D I just checked the website that Jeffrey was on and he's been adopted. I'm sure he's goig to a great home and good luck to that little fellow.

I guess I'll have to keep on looking.

Uncle Pete,
How is your quest for a rescue going? I guess it's a lot like going through adoption, paperwork and waiting. Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking positive thoughts for you and hope your sheepie becomes available for you soon  It's funny, my mom has never really had a thought about owning an OES, but since she's become grandma to Max, she just loves these dogs. She's not ready for her own yet due to her work schedule, but someday (maybe retirement) she may look into getting one. I'll send her to this forum, a rescue would be great for her!! Good luck,
Sharon
:D Hi Sharon.

How are you?

Thanks for your well wishes. Well no luck yet but I'm still looking. I just emailed Grannie Annie again to see if she had any. I'm sure that there's a special sheepie somewhere just waiting to make its way here so that it can be treated with all the great care in the world that it deserves!!

Dallas is waiting patiently too but its her I feel sorry for as she can't figure out where Demi went and has to play by herself. Hopefully this will change soon.

I"m sure the more time that your mom spends with Max, the more she enjoys him, the breed and may decide to get one herself soon (that way Max would have a friend to play with).

Take care and I'll keep you posted.

Uncle Pete :D
Hi Uncle Pete-

Chin up, the perfect dog is out there waiting just for you. Why don't you contact Gerry House in MI? She does rescue, her email is houserex@mich.com and phone is 810.797.5312(if area code is outdated try 586). I spoke to her several months ago and she told me spring is a big turn in time. She is an OES breeder.

Holly
Hi Holly :D

Thanks for the tip. I will email Gerry today to see if she has any sheepies.

When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I see is that wiggly bum shaking from side to side and that big hairy smile :D staring at me so it defenitely puts me in a positive mood and does keep my chin up. I'm sure one of these angels is just around the corner and is slowly finding its way here.

Thanks.

Uncle Pete :D
