Stirring it up...LOL
He is taking new pics of my grandkids ((for over my fireplace)) for Mother's Day and I sweetly asked him to please include ALL my GRANDS...(grandkids... 5 and granddogs... 2~~~) to which he replied in his usual dry wit!!!... "not gonna happen, mom!!!" Being as stubborn as he is, I just couldn't let it alone..after all it is my picture, so why can't I get exactly what I want???? So, I thought I would appeal to his professionalism as a photographer by pointing out some very fundamental points.......... DEAR SON::::: In an effort to simplify your photography endeavor I propose this::: You, as a picture taker, need balance and harmony in each picture you snap so your craft will be pleasing to the eye. Since Lucy is brindle.....and Dommy is white with brindle markings, how balanced would your picture be?????? Place them as book ends with the children in the middle and voila~~~~~ total harmonic heartwarming scene!!!! (If you would really like to go gangbusters with this....dress the kids in browns,blacks and white for a multimonocramic pleasurable experience....)))) Love always.....your mother  (((now...to wait for a smartalec response from my NUMBER 1 son.....   )))) |

| We have been battling back and forth thru emails ....Here is his last response.......... Quote: Let me be clear. There will be NO DOGS at this shoot. Not Lucy. Not Cosmo. Not Pearl. Not Domino. NOT A ONE. He is a funny boy!!!! I got this last email when I got home so I talked to Dino about it. He actually agrees with me!! So today, he will call Nick~~~~~~~~ I will be posting a copy of the picture with ALL my GRANDS when I get it in May.....  |
| I agree with u. The pic is for U so should have what is most precious to U in it. This pic will mean a lot in the future when the grandkids grow up and look back at the time all gram's grandkids/furkids where included. |
Your shaggy babies just have to be in the picture. I think that your son will come around. If not, let all of us know how to contact him. He will then have to give in!  |
| Normally I stand with Nick on your photographic requests Usually, he is probably worried about needing a disclaimer "no animals were humiliated or asked to do something beyond their capacity in the taking of this photo" when dealing with your requests..... BUT I am on your side with this one. It is YOUR picture and he works for you. (You can tell him I said that too) |
| You remind me A LOT of my mother and Josh's Grandma. I had to snip a piece of Asterisk's grey and white fur and send it in an envelope to my mother. Josh's Grandma (who, cutely enough, keeps calling Asterisk, Apostrophe) got a whole 'baby' album of Asterisk. Though both show off their grand-furkids to everyone. |

| Well, he's better than one of my inlaws who just loves to send me presents -- pictures of her kids for my walls. Of course I should reply in kind with pictures of Mulligan for her walls, but I'm not the pot stirrer like SOME of our members. |
