| From what I heard, there are so many deaths a year, that it's a struggle to find space for everyone. I also heard that since Farrah was more of a television star, they didn't put her in for the movies (though they put in Michael Jackson, so who knows?) |
| I don't think of Farrah as a film actress, either. There were many other TV movie actors who passed away and weren't honored as well. She wasn't a "movie star", really. |
| I just saw a report on this. The Academy has apologized but stands by their decision, even though she was in 19 movies, she was better known as a TV star. Michael Jackson was honored because his posthumous movie was a blockbuster hit. Ffffffft. She was a blockbuster star. The Oscars themselves were hosted by a TV personality this year, and the show is shown onnnnn oh yeah. TV. The truth is she never liked Hollywood and Hollywood never liked her. Now I was never a huge fan, but she was a huge star. IMHO |

In her IMDB profile, I only counted 5 movies that weren't made for TV (but I may have missed some, it was a quick glance). Who knew Logan's Run was one of them though? Wow. |
