Wish me luck

Well I cant post the pics but today Tiggy decided she felt like an 8 month old again.

She was 2 years old just 2 weeks ago but hey you're only as old as you feel.

Tiggy hasnt stolen off the counters or chewed up stuff for at least a year but today I came home at lunchtime to be greeted by a BIG mess. I often groom Tiggy over 2 days and leave a plastic bag with hair in it taped to the back of a high stool near where I set up. Today Tiggy decided to rip it down and rip it up. The whole living area was covered in shredded plastic bag and big lumps of sheepie fluff. What a mess!! I have a pic of Tiggy and my siamese sitting amongst the debris. The cat is looking away from Tiggy as if to say "no idea about what happened or who did it" and Tiggy is lying on the rug staring at the cat as if to say "HIM, it was him!".

Now for the wish me luck part. Someone and I cant really be sure who, but I am a bit suspicious that Tiggy was on a rampage, stole a big tub of fish oil of the bench. Its been there for months!!! Why today!!! It was about 1/5 full and now the lid is off, there are big tooth marks in the tub and IT IS EMPTY!!! :cow: Not a fish oil cap to be found. 8O

I cant decide whether I'm hoping that whoever stole it shared so that one of them ate half as much fish oil or whether I hope only one dog ate them so I only have the potential for one very poopy butt once that oil does its thing. :lmt:

There is about 1 1/2 hours between when I go back to work and Wayne gets home. They will both have to be outside in the kennel till Wayne is here to supervise. I've just finished cleaning up one big mess and I'm not in the mood for poop everywhere. So fingers crossed the gut or guts manage to deal with the fish oil :crossed:

Currently Tiggy is racing up and down our long corridor proudly waving a pair of Wayne's jocks over her head like she's just won a race. So no ill effects yet.

Tiggy is priceless!!!! And your reaction just as cute!!!

I will leave it up to more seasoned posters to deal with the fish oil caps...I will just say, reading your posts gave me a laugh...I can just imagine what a mess you walked into!!!! AND I can't wait to see the pics!!! :lmt: :lmt: :lmt:

And Heart wants you to give Tiggy a :high5: ..........!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D :D :D :D
Gee thanks Heart
Tiggy doesnt need any more encouragement, she's doing just fine all on her own.

But I'll pass on the high five as I know Tiggy will appreciate the recognition from a kindred spirit.
I hope Tiggy does as well with the fish oil as Biscuit did with the half tub of peanut butter (the large size) he ate - absolutely nothing happened! :clappurple:

Good luck :D
Oh boy. Hopefully you don't get a poopy mess.
Paws crossed that it all 'comes out' ok...
It sounds like Kitty and Tiggy threw up one huge hair ball! I bet Tiggy's skin and fur will be very shiny w/all of that fish oil. I think that there is never a dull moment at your home! I can't wait to see pictures! :P
Fish breath wasn't a clue? Mine absolutely love their fish oil capsule if I first put hole in it and squeeze out a bit. They will not break an unmolested capsule. The after effects are no kisses for some time. PHEW! Stink breath.

Hopefully no poopy after effects.

Grit your teeth and smile now at her antics. They grow up and old way too fast.
Tiggy and your kitty are so funny. Sorry about the mess, but hey no one fessed up so no ones in trouble. :D
By the time I got home last night Tiggy had EXTREME fish breath. 8O
Rastus had dog breath
So I rest my case, guilty as charged your honour.

So far all is ok in the poop department.
Mim
Ru got hold of a fish oil capsule once but he didn't eat it- he rolled in it! Fishy carpets are no fun.

I was wondering how you were getting on, keep us updated!
Last night and this morning we had ummm soft serve. But fortunately not a messy butt so its been manageable.
It looks like I might be going to get away with things relatively unscathed. :clappurple:
Lucky you!
i feel your pain i just had the same thing happen but glad they did no eat my synthroid pills .. only trash ..

Oh that was lucky.

When I had only had Tiggy for 1 day I fell asleep sitting up on the couch. Well she'd needed lots of pottying and I was on my own so a bit sleep deprived. My hand bag was on the floor beside me and the little sneak thief poked her nose in it and stole a sheet of paracetamol tablets out of it.

I woke up and wondered what the white stuff in her blanket was. I totally freaked when I figured it out. I collected up all the bits of tablet and the foil packet. Tried to reconstitute the tablets, figured out roughly how many were missing and then weighed her and rang my vet in a complete panic. He was a bit shocked as he didnt even know I had a puppy. :cow: He did the math on her weight and max ingested panadol and told me she would be fine.

I have NEVER left my hand bag on the floor again.
What a slippery lil monster, well she could be with all that lubrication. Watch out when you grab her, she could slip out of your grasp like an oily fish

At least it was not another mobile phone
