Dog "purring"????

Im not sure if this is the same thing, but Abby makes a noise like that when she sleeps. I think its a soft growl, since she also barks, moans and even howls in her sleep!  She's a very vocal girl, and its reflected in her dreams.  |
| Dreams, maybe pain moans? MO sorta hums from time to time.......think she's working her way up to a sleep bark. She's the most vocal at night, others are pretty quiet. |
