Biting and nipping and dogs that won't play

I have been reading about a dog that nips and bites. One person said it could be because there was a dog next dog that couldn't play so the dog might be frustrated. We have had Oliver for about 2 weeks. He is so flippin cute but is a little devil!! He bites all of us. We can't lay on the floor with him because he grabs our hair and bites  . He has bitten all my girls, everywhere, hands , face , legs, ankles, ears, you name it he has bitten it. I do not know what to do. I have tried growling and he doesn't get it. I have tried ignoring him too. But I was wondering about this.... I have 2 other dogs that are shishpoos. Little dogs and they are brother and sister, they play together, so Oliver wants to play with them too. They however don't want to play with them. They growl and show teeth to ward him off. However oliver being a pup doesn't really pay much attention to them and keeps it up. We try to play with him and he is so wild with biting it is really hard to play without getting hurt! Any Help would be much appreciated  . Oh yeah , I am going to get him into a puppy class but it doesnt start til March and really I don't know if I can wait that long. I might be missing a limb by then, lol, I also don't want to crate him unless we are gone or it is night because I find that mean and want him to be around too

 OK just got done reading a old post must have been back in Oct,Sept, titled 16 wk old nipping all the time. I am now beginning to understand that Oliver is totally normal, . Now that I have researched this I will be fine. I am also useing a tip I read about with the soda bottles, He loves it. I also think that the other dogs will just have to adjust and that this is totally just play. I was worried , but like all things they will work it out. Thank goodness for this forum, we are so lucky that this is here!! I just love my puppy and was really scared that something was wrong! :clappurple:
Oliver sounds normal and remember probably starting to teeth too so lots of chew toys to help re-direct the crunch away from you and the kids.

Time out also helps with a chew toy, hard bikkie or a fresh raw bone helps at this stage also.

Only a teething baby still but yes do get on top of it.
your post looked exactly like one of mine when our puppy was 16 weeks old. I was sure I had an aggresive animal that needed to be put down!!!! I was bruised from head to toe! I cried almost every day.......

It's normal. Puppyhood is horrible.    But they grow into delightful dogs
Yep, BBB here doesn't stand for Better Business Bureau.....it's Bit, Bruised, and Battered. :D
Thank goodness they're cute
