My bad boy turned jumper

Sometimes (as your dog destroys your home), you've got to just laugh. I think.

So I'm taking a pic in the other room, and someone wanted in on the action. Now he wasn't on our side because pics and mequpak in the way don't mesh well.

I guess my dog decided being left out wasn't an option. I'll just jump over. Ohhh brother...

First off, they say dogs give warnings.

Warning 1: Note to the right of the dog, there's paint that's been scratched off. Mr. J is very happy with this one. He scratches the wall whenever he wants over.

Image

Warning 2: An innocent "hey can I join in?"

Image

Warning 3: You guys aren't lisssssstennnning... I'm not that bad.

Image

Last Warning: I'm bracing myself for the big moment.

Image

When you don't listen: Here it comes...

((shrugs)) He was disappointed to find out he wasn't included in those jilly pics I was taking. ;)

Oh wow, he is just SO adorable,.... how can you possibly resist him?
ooooh, mequpak you are a little devil....

Is that the cut from the groomer you had the coupon for? He looks great!
Well thanks! That makes me feel good. I actually did it. Mr. J thinks all my haircutting stinks, esp on the boys, so it's nice to get a thumbs up from SOMEONE.

I haven't called yet to use the coupon!
He is a cute little rascal!

Wow, you did great! Sincerely, I would not have guessed he wasn't professionally done. Definite thumbs up! :clappurple:

I totally agree, he looks fabulous! You could groom my dogs ANY TIME!
I think he looks clean, well groomed and apparently behaving like a young male. Cut the boy some slack.

Don't! You do a better job. You'll just end up being pissed off for however long it takes him to grow back out!

Great photo sequence. Boy needs a job. Guess he found one  8)

Kristine
Yeah, cut the boy some slack!

Nelson was the brattiest puppy ever. He ate wallboard, wallpaper, baseboard, upholstered furniture, table legs and kitchen cabinets. Knocked people down like a runaway freight train and would run the other direction when called. Of course not having little kids around it was much easier to deal with. Guess I laughed about everything except the kitchen cabinets.

Once he got through the "terrible twos" he was a different dog. Never chews anything he's not supposed to and is calm and good around kids and seniors. Some times he's almost too calm! Zzzzzzzzzzzz.... 8)

Poor Mequpak has to be terribly frustrated being ostracized by his family. Try to include him in family-time. Put the kids behind the baby gate occasionally and lavish attention on Mequpak instead.

If things aren't working out, call Doug and tell him you're sending him to me. Nelson would love a cousin to play with. :D

Well come on over to TX!! If anything, we'd love to meet you and let you see firsthand how he is.

Trust me... I totally cut the boy slack ALLLLLLLL the time. I try allll the time to take advantage of the good things he does like being king cuddle. I have to come somewhere to vent/get help, so here it is. Plus, I've held it in for so long on here (minus a few pms with a 1-2 people) that it finally feels like I can breathe again now that I've come out with our long time struggles. He's with joshee all day long playing. He's just over on that side when we're gone, meal time, guests, and usually the last 1-2 hrs before we go to bed (our princess is sleeping and we need him to be quiet). He gets more people time than most dogs since I stay at home I think. I try to mention a few good things in my posts, but sometimes I just need to vomit my frustrations out. ;)
Well I wont comment on his behaviour, I think you have to be there to really know what he's like but I will join in and say he looks beautiful.
Very white and I thought he's been professionally trimmed.
I agree with Kristine be careful who you let groom him. You do such a great job, you may well be really disappointed.
How much exercise does he get? Straight out, full speed run, play, etc? These young boys are so full of it, they just need to burn it out.......much like young boys.

Have you trained Mequ.....whatever to run on the tredmill? Look what Dawn had to do with the Chews.........sled pulling, weight pulling...... OK, it wasn't "had to" its just the young male fell right in step.

Now you see why young males make up a larger % in rescue.....in most breeds, not just OES.
OMG he is beautiful and he does look professionaly groomed, so keep on doing it yourself
He's just a "Fluffy Cut" Post Boy.............well done !
Hey Mrs J why didn't you vent before? I could have done with the laugh

I'm totally on your side, you need boundaries (physical & mental) with these sheepie boys. Cycling with Ru has been a saviour to me. I'm more than happy to take him now, because I know that just 1 hour of that will give me 2 days where walking will be enough. I HATE exercise too, but it's worth it to see him so happy & the peace I get after. I can't imagine juggling that plus grooming, plus housekeeping plus 3 babies!!! You are a wonder-mom.

Aww he really looks so cute, my heart just melted at the 1st pic, he's like a fuzzy bear, you have done an awesome job. I don't think Ru has ever been that fluffy 8O

I love his hair cut :D
I agree w/everyone. Great job on the grooming! He is so cute! :P
Thats a funny story. I agree all you can do is just laugh

Your dogs are absolutely gorgeous.

Lisa and Frankie
He really is a gorgeous dog. And I love that leaping picture. So, he completely cleared it? What did he do when he made it over? Was he confused? Do you think he's done it before and just leapt back over before anyone knew?
He's cleared it probably 4 times. He's never really thinking too much, so if I were to guess ...he just went about his business of trying to get to whatever he wanted. He hasn't "learned" that his weight on the gate and a little push often just opens it. He stands there confused, and since I'm right there ...I just tell him to stay and close it back up. When he hears the dogs barking on the other side of the fence COMBINED with yuki already being outside with them ...that usually gets him excited enough to leap over without knowing he even leaped over. You just have to see him to understand that. 8)

Today the kids and I went to the park with him and he had a blast. The kids kept turning on the splash pad and goobernuts just helped himself to all the water in the world. I had him on the leash, so he didn't get soaked... just face.
:clappurple: :clappurple: :clappurple: you are amazing you keep house, have kids and dogs...well done you!
Goobernuts.... lmao....
Wow he is big how much does he weigh? He looks so adorable makes me want to get Langley trimmed down. Thought I would wait until the spring so far his coat has been manageable. So I have kept it long but that is soo cute!
He is a beautiful boy and you did a fantastic job in his grooming!
You do a wonderful job of grooming :clappurple:
How about I drive over to babysit, and you could help Cuatro out with his "do"?
