What do you pay for Doggie Daycare?

I had been thinking about Doggie Daycare for my dogs for a while now. There are a few in the area, but I'm not really sure on what to look for and also what type of costs to expect. I don't want to go for just cost-effective, I also want to go for safety and overall happiness of my dogs.

So for those of you who use doggie day care, is there any advice you can give on what to look for?

I'm looking into getting into a new company and it's quite possible that there will be some days where I can't get away at lunch for my dogs.

The Paw, where I have my classes, is also a boarding, daycare, pool, rehab, grooming facility. I attached a link to the website page for rate. Just daycare is at the bottom.

There are different rates - it gets cheaper as you buy a bigger package, also there are full day and half day rates.

The floor of the training center is padded rubber and the size of a gym. 4 outdoor playgrounds are astroturf (NO MUD!) with a drainage system.
Normally in the winter the turf is cleared, but this year the owner had a snowblower company legal issue ( they company sent the wrong one and refused to refund/exchange it for Months. So, they have the right one now and are clearing all but the 1st outdoor playground. The dogs really like the snow, so it gives options.

That is a pretty fantastic place! I really like the idea that you can view different parts of the building.

That was close to the rate that the ones around here offer. Geez, for two dogs it will be pretty steep, but they could go a few days a week, I guess.
I pay 20 a day at pet smart. I also have been to a few other places in the area that run about the same price. At petsmart they play inside only. They have a special potty room thats supposedly filled with pheremones so they will only potty there. You make your own schedule there. If you want 1 hour play then 2 hour nap then play again. Whatever you tell them is what you get. They temperment test have groups no larger than 10 dogs and have small and large dog groups. They will mix up the groups if the dogs all get along with each other. I really like since it's not outside at all you don't have to worry about your dogs getting dirty or overheated in the summer.
