"...Sebastian is an 11 year old OES. He was released to our shelter after one of our Humane Officers went to his home. Poor Sebastian spent his whole life alone outside. Sebastian needs a hair-cut, badly. He is unsure of his surroundings at the shelter right now but we are hoping his stay will be a short one and he'll find a new home ASAP!..."

I have a relocated Nova Scotian friend in Linden, PA who I have sent the link on to and asked her to check around for me.

Fingers crossed. He looks so sad and lost.
That is just heartbreaking! I couldn't imagine an OES living outdoors for so long. I hope he finds his forever home very soon.
Thanks so much, Brenda.
I have no idea where pottsville is but hopefully someone will get this poor boy. He deserves a soft bed and love Oh my goodness ,all his life outside  I have rescued a few like this Just what are people thinking Grrrrr
Do we know anything new about this guy? He's in PA, so he can't be that far from me.
I can try to go for him if he needs me.

Shellie
NEOESR is going to be looking after this guy. :clappurple:
Woo-Hoo!
:clappurple:

The shelter worker said he had been chained up for years...
exactly what happens will depend on how he interacts with people.

He had growled when he first came in. They said he was traumatized
and having problems standing up. They have him on Rimadyl and he
is doing better than when he first arrived. What happens is going
to depend a lot on what's most compassionate for this ol' dude.

Thanks NEOESR & Grannie Annie.
grannie annie says foster parents getting him tomm., i just missed helping w/transport this ole guy.
Excellent!!!!
Oooh... that's very good news.

Message from GA with regard to the Senior.

Hi Brenda,

We were able to get the 11 y.o. out of hock and he is in his foster home, having enjoyed a 4 hour transport. He went to the vet this a.m. and drum roll, please....he is Heart worm neg!!!! he will be on antibiotics and pain killers for at least 10 days. he is getting along with his three other OES housemates and is a great dog. So far so good. Please thank the OES org for their concern. We'll have pictures as time goes by.

Thank you so much for all your help and support.

Makes my heart happy to know that he is not chained up any longer. :hearts: :hearts:
Thanks so much for following up on him, Brenda!
I hope that he loves to be 25, painfree, happy & loved, living the life of Riley. Just dues for the horrible life he's lived. Hugs to all that will change his life.........Kathy
