Well done momma and maggie ![]() |
congrats ladies, not an easy task. ![]() |
Great job!!! Especially wrangling two leads at once. ![]() |
I was inspired by the video of Stella and Atlas. I used to walk Lola & Lily on the same side as well. They were both wearing prong collars though. I don't believe Maggie will need one. |
that is great! So do you recommend a lead for walking sheepies? I took Oliver on his first big walk today!!! He did really well. I have had a leash on him for a long while, so he was used to that. I haven't even thought about walking all dogs together,LOL Hope it continues to be a success. ![]() Traci Oliver,Lilli,Brandson, Luna (cat),Skylar(cat),Dejene'(cat) Mom ![]() |
On lead is good to get him used to it and sneak in some training without him being aware of it. Make learning fun ![]() Off lead in safe areas is also good - to get some exercise and really run and stretch. If your other 2 have good leash manners, you can take them all. But, it is really important they all know how to walk alone and well on lead as well. |
Yes, Maggie is on a regular lead, Lily is still on a prong collar. She is very powerful. She is almost ready to graduate to a regular lead though. Maggie is so gentle, she may never need the prong collar. I was always against them until Lily almost caused a bike accident at the beach. She literally was pulling me off my feet. I shudder to think of how hurt she would have been by that racing bike, not to mention it's rider. I put one of the prong collars on my thigh and tightened to see if it hurt, it was fine and I don't even have fur. ![]() |
