My husband and I are huge golfers. The only one who can play is him though ;) I mentioned before that Mr. J wanted to name joshee, Tiger. Like seriously... If you knew our little boy, if anyone could have that name, it could be him. ;)

However, we were shocked when this all came out. It's extremely hard to live a life like him. I think it's easy to be on the outside looking in and say you'd never do such a thing, but no one really knows what it's like to be a billionaire and have girls hiding in your hotel closets, hot girls showing you their willing to please ta-ta's, etc. But the fact that his friends were "in" on this and helped him get away with these terrible sins against his wife and kids makes me sick.

I also think what he said was honest. That he was entitled "to cheat," and entitled to his secret life. I'm NOT defending him ...just saying it can't be easy to be him. I think he's a bast^^^ now.

I can tell you most of the golf world though WANT him to get back to golf, and a lot of their viewers STARTED watching because of Tiger. He holds a great part in making golf what it is. Even when he's losing, much of what is broadcasted is just "Tiger." That's sure as heck why we watched. They'll forgive him and he'll go on to be the long admired hero of Golf. We watched the last few games on tv, and it just stunk w/o the guy.

With that said, I'll lose complete respect for his wife if she stays. Don't think she will but you can't look in the mirror if you stay with someone like him. My family got a t-shirt for Christmas that said "I'm on Elin's side" as a gag gift.

I'm pretty sure I made these statements before but I can't remember jack.
I just don't get why he got married. I mean, go on, be a billionaire playboy and hook up with as many women as you want, but why even pretend to settle down and then have kids? That's the part that I don't get.
Me neither. Maybe he had the right intentions but you know how things go when you like the "ideal" of something ...but not have the motivation or willpower to achieve it. Most men want a trophy wife followed by little tiger's to carry on his name.

Another reason people just want Tiger to start playing again. These guys make ALOT more money since the arrival of Tiger. Els himself has probably at least doubled his earnings or more because of the Tiger effect of the purses

random: I can't believe michael jordan was there. .
I still can't get why we care? He is a golfer - if I was a golf fan I would be amazed and enthralled by his talent. But his personal life - so over it all (and that goes for all the celebrities)

Well, that's it. There is a market for this type of information. For all of the people saying Who cares, there's a whole other group for whatever reason is interested in that. So until that goes away, we're going to keep on hearing about celebrities' lives. And I'm guilty of it. When I'm bored at work I go to Perez Hilton and check out all the latest celebrity 'news'.

I think a better question is "Who STILL cares?" This has been going on what seems like forever. I love celebrity gossip stuff but I don't understand why something like this just keeps going. I guess I don't really consider sports people interesting celebrities anyway. It's boring and there's nothing new or exciting. If he murdered someone and there were new interesting details coming out, sure, but an invite only press conference to read a stupid press release? Dumb.
I goes on because of the shock value. Who would have thought Mr. Perfect could have such an ugly side? Golfers are suppose to be so pure, no groupies, no wild parties, no clubbing. Tiger is a molded product, first from his father and now by his managers. Like Frankenstein's monster, this creation has some flaws. Apparently in all the molds and shaping, they forgot morals.

Henry Kissinger said, "Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac." Let's not also forget money. Power, money and adulation....and alcohol and pain medication (night of the "accident.")

Maybe now he can play with John Daley.....and become the Bad Boyz of Golf.

Well said!
I'm so sick of tiger woods and all the arrogant athletes out there. And the stupid women who fall for them.
:clappurple: :clappurple: AH we missed you
Since day one of the whole Tiger thing I've been saying who cares?! I just don't get it, it's no one's business but his and whoever he slept with. I personally don't care who or how many or if he's married or whatever... if he is in the news because of an accomplishment leave it at that, I get so sick of the media making every detail of every celebs life everyone's business.

Some say by being a celebrity that makes it everyone's business but how is that? I mean, is it because they make a lot of money? Why should income decide the amount of privacy one gets to enjoy? If it's because they put themselves out to be seen, well IMO that shouldn't apply either. When they are acting, singing, playing whatever sport, they are working. What we see is a product of their work, why is it anyone's business what they do in their personal lives?

Several puns combining "tiger" and "tail" keep running through my mind.

Go wash your brain out with soap!
I'm trying, I'm trying!
I keep thinking about "putter" jokes. What brand of soap do you use, Ron?

I agree.......it's time to end this with Tiger and other celebs who screw up their lives. If people would spend more time working on their own relationships instead of voyeurism, we all would be heathier and happier.
