SENSITIVE STOMACH DOG FOOD
My 8 year OES has a sensitive stomach. He tends to get constipated then followed by diarrhea once in a while.(more often lately) What is the best food to feed my cutie?  Thanks |

"Best" is hard to tell ya because many of us are on different things. 
What I hear a lot on here is Pro Plan Sensitive Skin and Stomach. I even used it for a long time and it worked. I've also used Science Diet z/d with great great success. Now I am using Wellness for all our dogs. |
| I have a boy who is going to be 12 years old here in about 6 weeks. He has always had the most sensitive intestinal tract of all my dogs. If there was 1 microbe of anything to cause diarehha in the air, my others wouldn't be affected but he surely would. A few years ago I switched him to Purina ProPlan Sensitive Skin & Stomach & what a difference! He has always been on a premium food (ProPlan, Sensible Choice etc.). I think in 3 years we've only had 2 bouts of diarehha. I have always been very careful about what my dogs eat. Only 1 kind of biscuit & NO people food. They only get training treats (different from biscuit & much higher value in their eyes) when we train for performance or are in the conformation ring. |
