Hudson keeps locking his brother out.

Rudy and Hudson are doing really well together...except...

It's about six thirty. They just had breakfast and I let them have a few minutes of free time before locking them back in the bedroom with their dad while I get ready for work. I leave the back door open (despite the cold) so that they can run out for another pee/poo before heading up.

For the third or fourth morning in a row they both go out, do their thing, run in chasing each other, and then turn around to run back out, Rudy first.

But as soon as Rudy's cleared the door, Hudson pushes it shut with his paw, locking Rudy outside. Then he stands on the other side of the glass, smirking.

Rudy HATES it when the door is closed and he's outside. (I think he was used to being locked outside in his past life) and he immediately begins barking like a mad dog.

I rush to let him in, and Hudson mysteriously ends up underfoot, making it difficult for me to get to Rudy. I'm sure the neighbours all enjoy the wake up call.

Evil puppy strikes again.

That, or for posting partially nude photos of Hudson on his blog. I mean really, how is Hudson supposed to run for office now?!
Lily (the retriever) is the super sharp one in our family. I watched her look at Lola all cuddled up with Daddy (her usual spot) and work it out in her head. She then went to the toy box, found Lolas favorite ball, and the proceeded to fling it (how she didn’t get whiplash I'll never know) down the hall. Lola, predictably, took off after it. Lily just sauntered over to the couch and snuggled up with Daddy in Lola's recently vacated spot. She looked very pleased with herself. 8O
Sometimes I wonder if I should sleep at night... 8O
........and you have a cat?? Hide the knives and other devices. You've got two potential problems in the house!

Nah, the cat is 18 and forgets where she is. Now, if she was subject to suggestion, I would be in trouble.
And here I was thinking Rudy was the smart one what with his blog and all.
Smart boy Hudson.
