Ok, Lets Talk About Dreams.

What are some of the strangest dreams you've ever had?

This one was years ago but I dreamt that my dh was killing single blonds with no family(shrugs shoulders). Two days age I dreamt that Garfunkel had turned mean. He couldn't stand Simon. I kept him(Gar) at someone else's house but they kept him chained up outside and when I visited he looked real sad.

BUT THEN, Simon wrote a letter telling us that Gar was hunting him and trying to kill him. We took him(Simon) to different places for the day while at work but Gar would always find out where it was.

Then I woke up.

Maybe Simon really is trying to tell you something but afraid if he made it obvious like when you're awake ...Gar will get him.

I always wonder why we dream certain things. I mean unless it's something like Matthew Fox is in my bed waiting for me after a long day. That's a no brainer. :)
i not only dream weird, I get up walk around and talk in my sleep.

We have WAYYYYY to many pillows in our room. One night my wife woke me up asking what the heck I was doing... For some reason I was standing by her side of the bed stacking pillows on her. When she woke me I had 7 stacked on her stomach and was pressing them down before I tried to balance the 8th...Weird

Another time I had turned on the light and was standing up on the bed waving my arms... Again she woke me to ask what the heck I was doing...that time I remembered the dream and I was directing a semi as he was backing up....
Weird stuff
Twice now I have had this dream that is quite disturbing. I really need to remember to tell Barb about it...

Odd (as all dreams are), but quite gruesome....

I see my dog friend Barb's husband driving in his car. He is spurting blood. In my dream it is a ruptured aneurism (but logically can't be, as the blood wouldn't be flying). I see it as if I were looking through a camera lens and it is spattering all over it... 8O
In my dream I call Barb to tell, her and I wake up in a cold sweat.
It was bad the 1st time, but then I dreamt it again a couple weeks ago.... :?: :?:
I had an odd dream last night about an old friend of my daughters - like Dawn it was disturbing enough I actually feel like I should ask my daughter if she has heard from them lately - very bizarre. And then I went to the drs today and they made my next appointment on the friend's birthday.

....and the "Twilight Zone" theme is playing softly in the background.....
Funny there should be a thread about dreams.. I'm on here right now because I can't sleep.

I have loads of weird dreams, hard to pick one. Greg woke me up a few days ago in the middle of the night. He was still asleep, flailing his arms about and panicking. I shook him gently and said "Honey, it's OK, it's just a dream... you're having a nightmare, It's OK it's just a dream..." He mumbled a thank you a went back to sleep. I was pleased with myself that I had clearly saved him from a fate worse than death :roses:
In the morning he told me his dream had been that he was parachuting out of a plane, so high up that he could see the curvature of the Earth 8O His parachute wouldn't open, but he realised that was OK as he still had plenty of time to activate the spare. Then he angrily said "Why did you have to wake me?! It was the coolest dream I've ever had & was looking forward to the free falling part. Don't wake me next time." FINE.

Hurumph!!
I only seem to remember my dreams if I'm sleeping really lightly, say woke up, went back to sleep kind of thing. Since few of them are pleasant, I'm OK with this 8O

Last night I stretched out on the couch to watch Bones, fell lightly asleep, must have been half-listening to the show which featured some kind of serial killer and dreamt he was holding Macy (that would be Sybil's sister, so an OES) hostage 8O I could see her through the window and she seemed unaffected by her dire situation, but I was scared witless until the FBI let me accompany them (hahaha) as they arrested the killer. In my dream I heard one of the arresting agents speculate if they had the right guy, but I was too busy rushing to get my dog back to follow up on that. The next thing I know I'm awake (barely) and catch the last 45 seconds of the show where a judge, I think it was, comes home, opens a closet to hang up his coat, and this knife wielding man lunges out of the closet at him, end of show.

Let me tell you, I wouldn't open a closet for the next 24 hours without at least three dogs right there with me. I almost always fall asleep to the sound of the TV, I'm surprised I stay awake long enough to watch any show, the sound almost always lulls me to sleep. And now I know why I almost always put the sleep timer on and fall asleep to Nick @ Nite and The Nanny, where the worst that will worm its way into my dreams is the most obnoxiously nasal voice known to man, which, to date at least, has never threatened my dogs. Brrrr!
