transportation of rescue dogs

Hi everyone. Its been a long time since i have posted but i have been reading the posts for years now. Just thought i would throw out an idea that worked for my rescue Olive.

The web site is http://www.operationroger.rescuegroups.org
They are a non profit group of Truckers that help transport dogs to get them into rescue groups. I know they work across America, but may even have a network in Canada as well. They only ask for donations and i would imagine they are much cheaper than shiping a dog.

Just thougt they may be of use to those of you trying to get dogs to you.
Good luck

Thanks for posting this, I know of one lucky boy that
got to go with this group and had a blast!!

Welcome to the forum too!
well i am actually not new to the forum, just took a long break. I have been doing rescue hear in my own area and helping with local groups. I now have another dog Twobitts (lab/mutt) and picked up a roomate and his dog in the years. Always my first love will be my sheepie Olive. I am thinking of geting another sheepie puppy if i could find one through rescue. .....maybe
