Herding her sis!

Jules is our 14 month old sheepie. We also have a 5 year old border collie mix Jenny. For the last three nightly walks we have let them go with their leashes on down the street from our house. Jules grabs Jenny's leash with her teeth and pulls her all the way home. Tonight she brought her all the way into the garage. It is the funniest thing to watch! I really thinks she thinks it is her job to put everyone in their place. :D

I love it !!
Sheepies work hard tending their flock ...
Go Jules !!!!!
Talking about herding ... Farley was at the dog park yesterday and when his favorite buddy (a little 15 pounder of a mutt) was about to leave I noticed that Farley was trying to herd his friend back in to the park. The dog's owner had already put the leash on and everything but Farley was doing his "shoulder push/guide" move. Very cute!
That's so cute! I don't know if we've seen any pics of Jenny yet have we? *hint hint* :)
The three oes in my house at the moment like to herd each other. It's like watching a three way tug of war. Dancer is the alpha out of the three, but she is very subtle and ladylike about it. I also think she must be very smart, because when the three way tug of war gets going, she tugs just enough to get the other two interested, then lets go and comes to me for some one on one cuddling time. LOL
I need to figure out how to post a picture. I just need to sit down and really try. Jenny is our rescue dog. We got her from a local animal shelter. She has come a long way. We have had her since she was one. When Jenny and Jules play they start "mouthing" each other. Jules mostly dominates, but every now and then Jenny will get Jules by her legs and she can actually flip her over. Then she will straddle her so she can't get up. Jules dominates by pulling Jenny by the loose skin of her neck. I guess this all goes along with their herding instincts. Nevertheless, Jules thinks she is queen. When we walk with her she always has to be one step ahead. If someone tries to get ahead of her she runs to be the leader. Too funny!
Both of them sound adorable... I can't wait to see new pics of the beautiful Jules too :)
