chasing my shadow

Ok
This started a week ago.. Frankie has started to chase my shadow. At first I thought he was chasing a bug on the floor. Then I realized that it was the shadow of my arms and hands on the floor. I don't want him to become neurotic or anything. Does any one else have dogs that do that? It is funny to watch.

that is funny. never seen that. gigi likes to chase the light from a flashlight on the floor or a reflection of light from a watch. she is funny to watch
Yes, MO was a shadow dancer as a youngster! Maybe it's the herding drive to chase things that move. Now at 12 she is far less interested in shadows........except fire?? 8O

Before she'd chase birds......not the birds but the shadow they cast on the ground while flying by, people other animal shadows.........she could entertain herself for hours. She was in her glory in late afternoons when the shadows are long.

Anyway, the fire thing: when DH burns the yard debris piles once a year, that idiot dog will chase the smoke or the smoke shadows.
Instead of chasing my shadow, mine bark at it  And bark at themselves in any reflection of glass
