GFIII

It looks like glyco flex III is the best next step in their well being. anybody know of a wells fargo truck I can rob? Doogie and Lilah are in the 100 to 150 range and about 9 and 8 respectively. what dosages do you recommend that worked for you. Looks like tablets are a lesser amount while chews are in the 5 and 6 range. I feed a combo of water, rice and chicken 3 times a day so I could do the tablets with their meals. I saw one site say 3 times a day. too much? also someone recommended more veggies such as cabbage into their meal. I have a feeling that incorporating that would be easy as they are voracious eaters and I have weaned them off of potentially destructive dried dog food plus my recipe is much cheaper. Hmmm and chicken and mussel diet or shelled seafish, maybe I will join them and feed the whole pack including the alpha male (me). seriously would incorporating cabbage enable me to cut down the number of GFIII tabs? Thanks for your help. Dev was right. Also a trip down to Miami during the winter would be beneficial for us all. If you see something similar to GFIII in powder form and cheap would be easier to incorporate for me being on a fixed and limited income. don

Here's what the bottle says:

Initial (loading ) dose for dogs 101+ lbs is 2.5 tablets daily for 4-6 weeks

After that it's 1.5 tablets daily

I use the chewables and they do cost more than the regular tablets, but I' only using them for 1 90 lb boy. There are coupon codes on line for $5 off and they offer free shipping on orders over $100. I don't remember if there is a granular form.
I currently have 5 dogs on Glyco Flex III
No, it isn't cheap but, the results are worth it.
My Pyr mix would not eat it so he was on Synovi G3
granules.
His was neurolgical so, it didn't help but, it didn't hurt either.

One test you can use is to fold the back toes under and see if
they can correct this themselves.
Neurologicall issues they can not correct that "buckling"of the toes.

Just my opinion but, I would certainly add more to the diet..
I do not feed raw and I hope some others speak up.
There are alot of vitamims they may be missing with chicken and rice.
