Oh many of them eat bannanas- just be careful not to give him too much of a good thing.
Why not? Sybil's part goat!!

Kristine
He could be!
Tiggy's part greyhound!
HAHAHAHA! We used to call our 1st OES "Goatstine" & "Alligoat". She ate anything that didn't eat her first!
Ours get bananas as their after dinner treat, every day.

Bennett couldn't wait one evening and ate the whole thing, including the peel. He survived.
Jack will remain in bed......listening......while husband eats his breakfast at the far end of the house. When the spoon hits the bottom of the cereal bowl, Jack leaps from the couch and runs to the kitchen knowing the banana is being peeled. Half the fruit his HIS. If we are out of bananas, DH will eat an orange or clementine...and yes, Jack will get half.

If I start to peel a banana anywhere in the house, the tiny "snap" and release of banana scent will beckon Jack...if he's in the house. So far he hasn't been able to detect banana if he's outside and we are in.

Let's not even talk about banana bread.........
Ru doesn't like bananas but he's crazy about milk 8O Anything with milk, we can't have a glass of milk without him going nuts. He loves to lick the cereal bowl after Greg has finished and ice cream cartons, sometimes we give him a saucer of milk if he's really lucky. He's part cat
Bananas, pumpkin, green beans (rinsed), Patch thinks she's at the Golden Corral!
Patch can come eat here. My guys will eat just about anything. Made cabbage saute the other day, they loved it! Really hard to think of anything they don't like.......citrus...only 2 like citrus. Leftovers are not a problem in this house!
how funny! mine discovered they like carrots yesterday.
Carrots was the one and only thing Molly wouldn't eat..........until yesterday. While having some carrots left from the Christmas Buffet, Molly was begging to give one another try, After 4 she quit, but prior to, she would spit them out.........so it seems that I haven't found anything she won't at least make an attempt at. Carrots improve there eye sight..........right?
I call Wendel "Moose" sometimes. I was thinking of call him a piggy, but he's just too big for that. I don't think I've found anything in this world that he won't eat or has stolen.

He ate nearly an entire bottle of Parmesan cheese - WHEW, what gas from THAT adventure!
8O eeeewwww, cheese air
Daphne is also crazy about bananas. She also can hear the snap of a banana anywhere in the house. It is her favorite treat. I discovered that she will only eat cooked carrots from the crock pot. I suppose she can taste a little of the pork tenderloin that they were cooked in!
Summer loves cheese and crackers, and apple. If I sit and eat an apple she appears as if by magic. By the time I have peeled MY apple, taken 3 bits off for my birds and the core for the guinea pig and Summer has had some not much left for me.
Tilly is carrot mad! she will steal them from the fridge, she will stand and bark at the guinea pig cage if he has one, and in the morning she cries at the fridge until I feed the guinea pig so she can have some. God knows what will happen when the guinea pig has gone to the happy hunting ground!
Funny thing is...I had no idea dogs could digest bananas...I thought it was a little tough on the tummy!

Maybe I'll give them a half of a banana later on today....
panda LOVES cheese.....although she has discovered that celery isnt so bad...but one small piece will do......im not sure she likes the aftertaste..lol
Chauncey can be in our bedroom sound asleep on the bed and if I get into the fridge to get a piece of cheese, he standing beside me.
All our sheepies have hated bananas, but that doesn't stop them from insisting on eating them while making the best faces.

We used to have two carrot monsters. Now Hudson won't touch carrots. Too bad. Our vet says raw fruit and veggies (particularly veggies) make the best treats. My dad used to plant a special row of treater carrots for my dogs in his garden each year. Whenever he'd bring over a baggie of fresh ones the dogs would go nuts.

When we'd harvest the apple tree we used to have two "helpers" who would grab any and all apples that fell. Fortunately we weren't big on the rotten ones on the ground. But a nice, fresh apple was pure heaven.

Aren't they all just the funniest?
Haven't tried Bananas with Molly.......but I will.
She'll eat everything but raw carrots, cooked - no problem.
she had an episode the other day with getting liver for the second day in a row.............not quite sure what brought that on.
But if your eating it, she wants some............no questions asked.
Chauncey is the only dog I have ever known that is a picky eater. He will smell something and put his head down if not interested. If interesed he will take it very gently, usually meats and if their cut into bite sized pieces. Same goes for whatever I put into his bowl.
If we are eating something, he usually will not take a bite unless we have taken a bite first  We feel like the court taster's
Bananas are pretty much the only thing Loki won't eat, but it's because he was traumatized by one. 8O

One day I was handing little banana pieces out to the other three dogs and Loki came over for his. He took it, and somehow got it caught on one of his considerable fangs - skewered it all the way up to the gum line. He went crazy trying to get it off and I finally rescued him when he started trying to get his paw into his mouth to try and remove it. I pulled it off and he went flying into the living room and hid under the piano. Ever since then, when he sees me with a banana he scoots out of the room. Silly dog. :hearts:

I agree!
Gummy Bears are the new favorite thing around here--they got a bag of gummy bears off the counter when I was on the phone and ate the whole bag--minus the ones that were in their chins--on their cheeks--ears--and on the chests!
OMG

THATS FUNNY

JUST GOTTA LOVE THOSE SHEEPIES :hearts:
