Biting

My OES will not stop biting at people and is very aggressive towards our other dog. He is almost three. We have tried training him since he was a baby. We give him a lot of attention, we walk him almost 3 miles every day, and play with him every day. I have tried everything from popping his nose, to spraying with water, to making loud noises to let him know he is hurting me. I am out of ideas and need help desperately. Any suggestions??

Have you taken him to obedience classes?
Honestly, popping him on the nose is not
going to stop an aggressive behavior.

I am sure it is frustrating...

You are doing the right thing walking him but,
he does have to know that you are "alpha"

When you walk him does he pull?
I had a very alpha male and when we went on walks and
he pulled I would go the other direction with him.
Yes, it was a pain but, he learned pulling was getting him nowhere!
(sometimes I was dizzy  )

My very stubborn man Quin ended up being the most obedient dog.
He did get his Canine Good Citzen award...

Biting is not acceptable...he needs to know that!
Where are you located so members can give you trainer
help?
Good Luck and please feel free to contact me privately with any questions.
You may want to consider seeking out a trainer that deals with aggressive dogs, or a behaviorist. Good Luck!!
