Inulin

Has anyone tried food products with this relatively new additive in it?
Likes? dislikes?

I recently had it as a fiber "fullness" additive in a drink mix packet. It was quite good. It also is supposed to have prebiotic properties and lots of other things....kind of interesting.

Here is an article:

good question - that's interesting.

When I had the 1st stuff (in the drink mix) it made me very full/burpy feeling. I drank one pack each day for 2 days in a row. Had the same bowel symptoms I get from a FiberOne bar (Which I'm sure has inulin as the #1 listed ingredient is chickory root)

After several days not drinking it, I had some today and no fullness or burping. hmmm
