I just got a german shepherd puppy!!!!
i just got a German shepherd he s only 8 weeks old, so cute XD only thing beside pooing everywhere is that he wakes up at 3 a.m and whining for food (i tried water and put him in the washroom ) should i just feed the puppy ? or ignore him http://img1.classistatic.com/cps/kj/091 ... hn_19.jpeg |

As long as you're feeding him enough during the day I would ignore him other than taking him out to potty. Did the breeder tell you how much to feed him? It should be multilple meals during the day. Once or twice a day is not enough for such a young puppy. If not then I would be visiting my vet to find out if his weight is ok and how much and how often to feed the cute little munchkin. |
| Are you sure the puppy is waking for food? When my Simon was a pup he would get me up twice a nite in the beginning to go potty.
If he's waking for food I would say he's not getting enough during the day. |
| I say this to everyone with a puppy: buy a book. Specifically, I love "Puppies for Dummies". I know it sounds silly, but it outlines EVERYTHING. Puppies don't come with owner's manuals, and if you are new at this there's SO MUCH to learn. So why not take this opportunity ti educate yourself? |
