Favorite Shows Right Now

So what shows do you hate to miss and can't wait for each week!

I LOVE Glee, Modern Family, House, and LOST. I live for these shows and always find myself singing Glee, ...and laughing hysterically at Modern Family.

I REALLY like Community and I can add to this list two and a half men, new adventures of old christine, and gary unmarried because Mr. J watches them, ...and I never want to turn the channel. Oh, add Lie to me. A few of the shows can be Hit or Miss, but most of them are very good! Flash Forward can end this list but I just want to know what happens next!

What's always on my must watch list is Ellen. I always feel so good inside after watching her. Problem is, I have so many shows on my dvr b/c I never have time to catch it.

Anything else I watch, I can miss without crying over it ;)

We dont actually have broadcast TV (crappy reception where we live, and an unreasoning reluctance to bother with cable  )

...but...

We always have a DVD TV season or two that we are devoted to. At the moment we are working our way through CSI season 9, and Stargate Atlantis Season 5. Recent favorites have been Bones, Dexter, Sarah Conner Chronicles, Eureka and Torchwood (sigh, sniffle  "Children of Earth" broke my heart! :( )

Its a bummer to have to wait for the DVDs...but I love having no commercials, and being able to watch 3-4 episodes a night, if we want to! :D
No REAL shows here that we watch on a regular basis, waiting each week for the next episode. I guess too many years working 12 hr rotating shifts for both of us killed that habit long ago. Why get all excited about a show you know you won't get to watch. Of course now we have DVR, but not back then.

I relax in the evening with HGTV on. Big favorite networks for us are Animal Planet, History Channel, Discovery. Todd watches a lot of movies on the movie channels.

We both like 2 1/2 men. :D
House, NCIS and Bones.

Well, while I'm grooming dogs/cleaning house (can't just sit and watch TV). For going to sleep, The Nanny on Nick at Nite    I have no idea why.

Kristine
House, Fringe, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Two and A Half Men, probably some others I can't think of right now LOL Good thing I have a DVR and am an insomniac.
My favorite new show is JERSEY SHORE on MTV. Thankfully I haven't known too many people that are like that, even though I'm from Jersey..

LOVE Jersey Shore (even if they are editing out the punch next week. :()

I watch a lot of stuff but I'll only highlight the ones that I should be embarrassed about but I'm not since I have no shame:

Gossip Girl
The Vampire Diaries
Launch my Line
So You Think You Can Dance
90210

America' Next Top Model just ended or that would make my guilty pleasure list, too.
This season is driving me crazy because so many of the shows I love are on at the same time. So the DVR is getting a good workout! My have-to-see shows are: Heroes, Trauma, Mercy, Glee, Flash Forward, Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice. Because I can't DVR 3 shows at once, I've missed out on another fave this season, So You Think You Can Dance. Also watched Biggest Loser and Dancing With The Stars.
We don't have a TV but we do have Netflix which I love. I guess the only current tv show that I watch is Bones and that is on Hulu.
We have added The Good Wife to our list this year --I think it is really good! NCIS and NCIS Los Angeles--Greys Anatomy-Private Practice-Brother's and Sisters are some of the favs. Glee is now on the TIVO and The Closer. Can't wait for 24!

Like Kristine but minus House, just got tired of his tirades. Also add The Closer but unfortunately Monday nites I'm usually away and the network isn't rebroadcasting the show again like they did over summer. I slept thru NCIS tonight, drat, drat, drat! and still trying to warm to NCIS LA. I'm still into the CSIs too tho Miami has ticked me off one too many times, I walked out on it last night.
I watch my fave TV progs on the internet. Destination Truth, Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, Psychic Kids, Celebrity Ghost Stories, Cities of the Underworld & Mystery Quest. Of course I have to wait for someone to put them on the net, but we don't get ANY of those shows here, not even on dvd so it's worth the wait.
I forgot Glee, America's Next Top Model and Canada's Next Top Model, Vampire Diaries, love True Blood but don't know if it's coming back?
I'd have to say our favorite shows are: Lost, Flash Forward, House, The Big Bang Theory, Top Chef, Project Runway, CSI, Community, The Soup, and DEXTER (just love Michael C. Hall, the Season finale was really twisted).

Incidentally, has anyone watched Britian's Next Missing Model? It's a BBC broadcast where they are looking for the next big model, but all contestants are disabled.

I thought that's why we all watched House in the first place!! They've had a few episodes w/o him b/c they were concentrating on 13 and her love affairs... and they were horrible because they didn't have the star being ...him!! :)

BTW, i think you'd love House Drezzie's Mom!! Have you seen it before?
I must watch The Big Bang Theory on Monday nights. Apparently I am also into reality tv because I never miss Top Chef or Project Runway. (their seasons are over now, though, boo hoo). I'm a BBC-A junkie and lovelovelove Top Gear (will watch endless repeats) and Doctor Who, although the only new Who is premiering this Saturday evening.

Speaking of Dr. Who, we met our friend Spewie because when he first saw Josh, he said he looked like Dr. Who.

I can sort of see it, can you?

Big Bang theory was so funny monday night :) That and 2 1/2 Men are still tops in my list. I also like some of the new shows like Good Wife and Eastwick.

I have lost track of house, guess i will catch up on DVD or Hulu.

I enjoy Castle - comes on after agility class on Monday nights:), Still a grays fan and medium, the mentalist and numbers are on the dvr seasonal list as well. I missed out on glee for some reason and always forget about it.

I am looking forward to a new season of Big Love and the Number 1 Ladies Detective Agency on HBO.
I totally forgot Castle!
I DVR all the programs I like because hubby and i have a different taste in shows. I'm usually up during the night and that is when I watch my list. I also like the DVR so I can cut through the ads so let time on the tv.

all CSIs, NCIS/NCIS Los Angeles, Medium, The Closer, Numbers, Mercy, Private Practice, Two and a half Men, Old Christine (but thinking about deleting that one), Army Wives, The Good Wife.

I do also, however, enjoy watching HGTV.

It's definitely coming back but I don't think for awhile. It's on that temperamental HBO schedule.
Ooooh, I forgot to put Numbers and House on my faves list! 8O

Although, recent (and remember Im a season behind, due to DVDs. ) House episodes had gotten a bit to grim for my tastes. Have all you House (and therefore Hugh Laurie) fans ever seen him in Wooster and Jeeves, Blackadder, or "A Bit of Fry and Laurie"? Its amazing to see him as a goofy comic character! 8O Wooster and Jeeves is a instant cheer-up for me, I re-watch them any time Im feeling down. :D

We own all seasons of "A bit of Fry and Laurie" as well as "Black Adder". I do have to say Black Adder is just wonderful.
Ugh. I have never liked House. Too sarcastic, in a bad, annoying way for me.

I like How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, Cougar Town, Real Housewives of Orange County (only this one), Project Runway, SYTYCD--although I actually missed this season due to lack of DVR space).

I like Jersey Shore too. I'm so glad I got to see the punch on the previews last week.

No such thing as too sarcastic.
Pawn Stars, True Blood, Hoarders, Eureka, Fringe, Antique Roadshow, Gardening by the Yard.

Now that I look at all of them together, it's not a wonder why someone might think I'm a bit odd.
We regularly watch Blackadder too, we must have seen it hundreds of times.
What about Desperate Housewives? I love that show! I also like True Blood, Brothers & Sisters, The Office, Entourage. I usually like most of the HBO original series. All My Children is good to watch while I'm grooming or on the elliptical!
