What are one/some of the things you're hoping for...

...for Christmas?

This year I am not asking for anything specifically for me although I'm hoping the kids get something that ...is technically for mommy ;) They really need 2 bookshelves to store their toys in baskets in each of their rooms, and anything that helps me organize makes me really happy. :)

Dan gave me one for the RAV about 6 years ago and its still the best gift ever!!! I like it as much in the summer as in the winter.

My son is bugging me for ideas for me and all I can think of is the steam cleaner :) :) He isn't thrilled so all other ideas are welcome ;)
how about a dog toy that will hold up to more that a weeks worth of play. I love the unstuffed toys with the squeekers however when they try to both get the toy they end up playing tug of war and the toy never survives. The more indestructable types are not their cup of tea unfortunately. I think they like the furry feel and that Bella can carry around 2 toys at once. God forbide Dexter plays with her toy.
When Greg asked me what I wanted for Christmas I excitedly said "Oh, I have a book list" he replied "But don't you want something fun?"

I know he's got me a surprise too :excited:

My birthday is in Feb & I'm REALLY hoping for a blaster dryer.
A rock. Not a diamond, a drilled rock for a water feature in the garden.
wanted the Ipod itouch 32. and he gave it to me already.
the washing machine just broke - today bought a new one. I don't want anything else except books and music. well having my two sheepies fully trained (obedience, rally and agility) (ah gee just not jumping on people at the front door) would be nice!
This might sound a little funny but I already got the best Christmas gift I could ask for - a king size waterproof mattress protector. With Mojo's seizures, it is one step to a easier cleanup plus it means I can cuddle with him when he isn't feeling well and not get up with a backache.
The only other thing I really want is a steam cleaner - the kind that can do floors, walls, etc. I won't be getting it but I'll be wishing all the same! Anything that aids in a state of clean and normalcy is a present I would take!
I want new sheets. The ones we had were wrecked from the months of the cat peeing on the bed. Now that he lives in the bathroom, I'm free to have nice sheets again!
I've hinted at a Kindle or department store perfume (no drug store  ) but I suspect the LandsEnd elves will bring me something more practical. Can't complain, he did suprise me with a 40th anniversary ruby and diamond anniversary ring (who knew rubies were the 40th anniversary stone...he's such a romantic...sometimes)
Aw, that is so sweet Susan :) .Only one thing on my list and I'm positve it won't be under the tree....a live in groomer!
As always, I wish for peace on Earth and goodwill to all.
I also want a steam cleaner.....but will probably have to buy it for myself. I truely don't need or want anything....but could use a steam cleaner. So just in case someone else posts a response to this , I will add this.... ( Hon, if you are checking the e-mail...this is a hint  )
That's easy...I want a new Sheepie Puppy!!!! But my family still says it's too soon. :x
For the last 3 years, I've wanted WII.

And this year.....

I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 :dreidel5: :clappurple: :go: :yay: :hearts: :roses:
A grooming table for me would be fab. Angel perfume, slippers pjs, dressing gown, bubble bath, new purse, clothes..... the list is endless.....

I feel exactly like that! Along with Peace on Earth!

On the practical side,I have to replace my stovetop as failed red pepper jelly boiled over and pitted the surface. (note to self: buy the jelly next time!) 8O

Yea yea...we all broke that rule!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it was such a great idea!
I'm at the stage in life where I don't really need anything, and anything I would want in March I will buy in March and not wait until Christmas to put it on someone's list. All I really want is for my family to be together, which they will be, so I'll be a happy mama.

I guess if I had to say one thing I'd really like - it would be a grandchild! But that will be a long way off yet.
I wanted a new camera (body only, for now) - and sent my husband a link to the site with the best price.
But this past weekend, I saw my sister's new camera. Talk about camera envy! So my husband cancelled the first camera and we will save up for the other one. :)

And I am hoping for a Golden puppy next Fall.
I have been hinting for that great slowcooker at Williams Sanoma with the cast iron insert! Husband can't believe I'm serious about wanting a kitchen appliance for a gift!

A Northface jacket would be great too!
A few years ago my Mom really wanted an electric counter top oven/frying pan for Christmas. She wanted to be able to cook a roast for two without having to get her oven dirty. Seemed like a good idea to me.

So I bought her one. That's what she wanted after all. My DH hung it on both of us for the next few weeks and then the next couple of Christmases.(spelling). He kept saying I was a disgrace for buying my Mom a kitchen appliance for Christmas and that she shouldnt have asked for something practical.

I bought him a video camera this year its what he wants but I'll be using it too. :D
Can't think of anything that I really want
I want either MAC cosmetics (because in this Deere Country, you can't find them - closest is a 2 1/2 hour drive to Chicago). Or gift cards to Lowes to pay for my new flooring.

The message worked!! Bobby asked me yesterday how long I've wanted a steam cleaner. The answer.....for the past several months that I've been dragging you into that department 8)
