I bought a house!

Technically a townhouse. I've been living in an apartment since my divorce 3 years ago and decided it was time to buy. I didn't want the upkeep of a single family house. And, I can have a dog in the townhouse! I'm not home during the day and I wouldn't want to leave a dog alone (just my personal opinion). But at least I have the option and maybe I could get involved in rescue or fostering. I don't know whether to laugh or cry so I've been doing both. I can't wait to move!

Paula,
You go, girl!! :clappurple: Congratulations on the purchase of your new home! After living in an apartment, you'll probably feel like you have all the room in the world! 8O You know, no matter how you look at it, that it's just a matter of time before you hear four little feet running around!! How exciting for you!

Whoa! That's another great big step on your road to healing and getting your life in the right direction! Yeah baby!

I'm so happy for you, and for the first dog you take in to foster! :D

Congrads on buying the townhouse! We recently bought our house in the summer so I know how you feel. It's the first house we've ever bought, finally got away from all the problems with landlords! x_X
Good luck!
Congrats! That's great news :)
Awesome! :clappurple:

When's the opening BBQ?
Way to go Paula!

I bought my house after my divorce 3 years ago, and it's been fun. It's my first house. There's always something, of course, but there's also no one telling me how to do stuff . . . if you know what I mean! 8)

When I moved in, I bought some of that Williams-Sonoma lemon hand soap and weeks later I went to use it again and realized that the smell was embedded in my mind as being related to the move and the stress of it all. To this day, I can't use that soap without panic setting in and finally Ijust threw it out. The funny thing is that I didn't realize at the time that I was so stressed out!

Belle & I would help you move if we lived closer.
The thrills of house buying!! Congratulations, Paula!! It was an emotional rollercoaster the 2 times we have bought a house. There is so much to do and so much to keep up with, but once the move is over and you settle in, it is a wonderful feeling.
I look forward to hearing about your fosters and any that may steal your heart and stay forever.
