WE-WEE WII? No matter how ya spell it hubby wants one. HELP.

I about fell off my place on the couch last night when John said that he wanted a Wii for Christmas. HUH??? Ok-- so, I am not at all familar with this stuff. I know there was thread a week or so back, with a Wii discussion.

What do I look for? Is it like a car, and the stearing wheels come standard :) . In other words, after I buy the tower, what other stuff do I need to buy.

Why doesn't he just want a golf club like usual???

my son gave us a wii for christmas two years ago and I just ordered the active sports game off Amazon for myself yesterday :)

Basically you will need - the game console and an extra controller (so two can play) there are so many games - it might be easy to do an Amazon search and see what packages it comes in these days - they do have golf (and cute little golf controllers :) )

I am NOT good at sports at all-- and not very coordinated LOL---

Will I get it????
yes - I am not an athlete either - thya also have Mario cart (with a steering wheel : ) and rock band and guitar hero and tons of kids games and board games - its pretty cool (from someone who is not a video game person)
My kids have one, I want one for me now though with the "new" Mario game LOL
So-- I just go in and tell them I want a Wii-- everything is included?

The core set will not but you can buy the starter bundle, which will have everything you need to get started. Your husband will like Wii Sports, you'll like Wii Play.

Just buy this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Nintendo+Wi ... 000&st=wii

Done. Merry Christmas.
I LOVE the WII!! You can also go to Game Stop and get used games for a TON cheaper. It's fun when you have friends over...we have 4 controllers and like to play bowling. My younger son like the tennis and I must confess......we just bought the super mario game for me & hubby

Isn't that game basically like trying to herd/chase puppies around the house only easier? :sidestep:

Yay! You'll have fun. Even if you don't like it, you'll love laughing at your husband play.

Ha ha... actually the dogs take care of that so far. Panda lets them run off occasionally but they're little pigs so they don't stray too far from food.

I don't play it at all, I only want one now because of the new Mario game. Mario rocks. LOL
I was the one asking about the wii.

Ours came about 10 days ago.

Ours was a bundle deal and just about eveything came with it.
sports and sports plus and something else.
the pad for the fit game ect.

I tried to use the bowling but still have back pain (getting better)
We have till the end of Jan, to retutn it, Not sure yet.
I want the game Jeep Thrill. Looks like fun.
I am lusting after the WII myself. My family isn't taking me seriously about it. Think I'll be buying one for me!
I bought a Wii last winter. I don't get to use it often, but when I do, it's nothing but fits of laughter. Last week I purchased Wii Fit with the board at Costco for $86. What a great program/game.

Yoga is fabulous as it keeps your breathing on track and your core/center of balance in the right spot. The balance games are a Hoot! I was laughing so hard trying to get through the obstacle course, DH had to see what I was up to. While he was in the room I showed him the golf game which uses the same balance measurements as Yoga to improve your swing. He was very impressed.

Wii fit also has a program for pets, but I haven't looked at it yet for details.

Is yoga part of Wii fit - or a seperate game?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Yup, Yoga is part of the software that comes in the package.
