Canada Was Great!

Little did I know when we got up at 4:00am to leave for Toronto what a great 24 hrs. it would be! Apolo (Am CH. Haystac's Bright North Star) would almost be a Can. Ch. in one day! If he only placed in group we would have accomplished that!My husband sat next to the next day herding judge who loved my guy and didn't know what dog my husband was there for, but we get to go back and finish another day. We started with the regular Trillium show and Apolo took BOB. Then it was sweeps and another BOB. Then to group where we got pulled, but didn't place. Then on to the specialty show, where Apolo made it a clean sweep under 3 different judges !!! I think we left the building at 8:00pm. After a quick dinner with our ever loving handler Carol Gefell and breeder Madeline Erickson we made it home at 1:45 am. I have to say we met so many nice people, it was a great once in a lifetime day!!! Apolo's sister took 2 BOS to him, and in the end Lisa and Tory took the last one. They are some tough competition! Congrats to them as well and all the winners!!! I was really smittened with Adele's Molly a veteran. In the end as we human's were dragging, Apolo just picked it up after 4 times in the ring that day. He is just a great dog to own!
