Ron, I got bit too. Thursday. the bullseye ring doesn't show on everyone but if it does, it happens within 72 ( or up could take up to a month!)....bingo.....I have it to. First they gave me one"preventive dosage of docycline., Friday within 24 hours...(same as for my dogs). Now I guess I'll have to go back Monday...did you know these things are a member of the Scorpion family....they feel like the worst bee sting ever. I woke up and felt something bite me hard on my leg. I just grabbed it off and got a tissue and got rid of it....then that night, this jerk hit the back end of my little car! Ugh what a day! I hope you feel better. My friend is a nurse....she said people go on intravenous antibiotics for Lyme disease. My dog had it twice and I frontline them....this is so nasty......and it's painful...I don't care how it looks like nothing....I wish you luck.....your friend, Mel
