I hate those hot air balloons.

Tiggy was slow to potty train. She is quite laid back about asking to go out and if there was no one in the room or DH was intent on his laptop instead of making a fuss she would just wee on the floor. But we finally got it sorted at about 7 months old.

She had a relapse at about 16 months when the weather got wetter but all was going well until the hot air balloons last week.

Now she rings the bell to go outside but if one of us doesnt go out with her she wants to come straight back in. When we are out there with her she just walks around the yard looking at the sky. I've been waiting out there for 15 minutes then bringing her back in, then either she rings the bell again or I take her out again and we repeat the process. I've done that up to 3 times in less than an hour only to find she's had a wee on the floor while I was out of the room. 8O

I've tried taking her out the front of the house on lead but she seems to get distracted out there too. Maybe because there are frequently cats roaming in the street. I'm praising and treating when she does potty outside. She's happy to wee all over when we go to the park.

Other than crating her does anyone have any other suggestions for overcoming her current preference for weeing in the house rather than her own back yard?

Thanks on behalf of Chicken Little (the sky is falling, and full of scarey hot air balloons).
