Luna the flexible!

I never knew how flexible sheepdogs could be until last week. We have a two story house and I usually come in through the garage which attaches to our downstairs living room. Luna likes to sleep upstairs and look out the window, but when I came home I didn't see her in the window as I pulled up, so I thought my husband took her with him on his trip to Wasilla. When I came into the house, I head the clacking of the dog tags, so I ran and hid on the side of the bed to "surprise her."

Little did I know she was going to be the one who surprised me. As I tucked myself on the side of the bed waiting for Luna to find me, I looked down and all I see is this big white fluff ball head come out from under the bed. Apparently she was under there eating the cat food. (Our foster would only eat under the bed.) But the dish was literally in the center of the bed. I still don't know how she really fit her whole body under there.

Does anyone else have incredibily flexible sheepies?

When it comes to cat food, they can turn themselves into cockroaches and completely flatten their body to crawl into impossible locations

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hides from their sheepie.

My fiance is out of town for work 2 nights a week so I have Bally sleep in our room with me because... well, I'm a scaredy-cat. Last night I woke up feeling confused because usually Bally will be woofling in his sleep from the end of my bed, but this time I could hear him breathing underneath me. So I clambered out of bed, and sure enough he had rolled about so much in his sleep that he'd slipped beneath our bed which is very low to the ground and was under the very centre. I had to wake him up gently so he wouldn't get a fright, but he was completely stuck and was squashed onto his belly crying because he wanted to get out. I went into the kitchen to find some treats to give him while I tried to maneuver him out but, lo and behold, the sound of the treat packet was enough to give him super flexible powers and he wriggled himself free before I could even get one treat out.

Food conquers everything!
LOL

I wonder if catfood tastes better than dogfood?

Great story. :)
All my dogs would rather eat cat food....(iffy on kitty krumbles.) Cat food has more protein......often more direct protein like fish parts instead of soy bean. However due to additives for cats, it is not recommended for regular dog use.
Owen manages to squeeze his body underneath a 3 inch gap under the fence to visit the dogs next door-- and super fast, too. None of us could believe it. We've since had to stake our entire fence down on all sides so Owen doesn't test for gaps like velociraptor.
